So I just bought Guitar Hero 3 and it's actually quite pretty addicting. Surprising, since I didn't think it would be my type of game. I tried the easy mode and I got a "You Rock" in the end. xD Controls are pretty simple enough, but that's only because I was only pressing the green, red, and yellow buttons - easy enough to reach.
Songs kinda sucks though, but I guess that's to be expected. Can't wait to unlock more songs! xD

I bought GH2 on a hunch, and now I love it! I was playing on Expert in a few weeks. I don't have GH3 yet. The only reason I'd get it is for Barracuda. I love Heart.

I was playing on Career mode just a few minutes ago, and picked the song, "Story of My Life"...boy, that was hard, even on easy mode. >.> My fingers got tired halfway through the song.
I find that it's actually much easier playing while you're sitting down rather than standing up (even with straps on your shoulder).

You guys do realise there is a free PC version of Guitar Hero called Frets on Fire don't you?
It even has the ability to import any song from the Guitar Hero series.
Anyway from the music pack I downloaded for that my fav song is probably Love and War by Drowning pool.
It's just that freaking awesome riff it just gives such a sense of badassness!

to be honest I'm not a big fan of frets on fire, I just prefer guitar hero (mainly for the controller).
I got GH2 for Christmas in 2006 and became addicted to it, then I got GH3 a few months ago which was still good but didn't have the same impact that GH2 had, right now I'm waiting for Rock Band which STILL hasn't been released in Australia!

I prefer Rock Band to Guitar Hero. The guitar portion of Rock Band isn't quite as good as that of Guitar Hero, but I'd rather mess around with the drums and vocals anyway.
I lost interest in Guitar Hero after Guitar Hero III released. It was a step backwards from Guitar Hero II. The "boss fights" were lame and the tracks weren't nearly as good. Not sure how Guitar Hero 4 will stack up when it releases in...October, is it? I think so.

Gotta love Guitar Hero III. I'm stuck on "Raining Blood" on Expert Career Mode. It's bloody difficult.
Played Rock Band not long ago in HMV and even though I was playing it on Expert it was far too easy. Guitar Hero is more challenging in my eyes despite the fact that the Guitar Hero controller is far easier to use.
For anyone thinking of buying Guitar Hero Aerosmith... don't. Aerosmith's songs are long and repetitive. It gets tedious quick.

I absolutely love this game, honestly its the most addictive thing ever especially if uv had a few beers. Although its like almost impossible on expert mode. Its great how they have modern songs and also the old school rock bands, somethin for everyone.
dragon force is impossible lol

I second that. If you're a hardcore Aerosmith fan or someone who lives just to rake up Gamerpoints on Xbox Live, then go ahead and spend the money. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with it.

Text changed. Oh, well.
Yeah, I struggle with expert as well...which is another reason why I prefer Rock Band. It's a bit easier. My brother destroys the songs on expert, making me a bit envious. Getting 5 stars on Through the Fire and Flames is quite the achievement.

Anything above Medium I'd be pushing 3 stars at best xD
Albeit, I've come on a long way since I'm 5 staring most medium songs even though when I started I was getting 3 stars on easy
I downloaded Supermassive Black Hole, Exo-Politics and Stockholm Syndrome as well as the Foo Fighters (which is hard) and the Coldplay tracks .
Muse's songs are awesome though.
