Red Alert 2 - Page 3

Well im gunna start of by saying i never actually played Red alert one, and was introduced to Red alert 2 by a friend who had it on his laptop when i was at boarding school, and i became addicted to it, infact when he decided he was going to get rid of this game i offered him 5 pound for it and he said okay, bargain if you ask me, then he bought Yuri's revenge and red alert 2 again which i found quite amusing for like 15 pound (also a bargain) and so i got better and we started to play against each other on it and he slaughtered me everytime.

and i guess what im trying to say is that this game is down right AWESUM!!!!! especially considering it has kept up with more upto date games like LOTR: war of the ring and others like it

red alert 1 was good but not as good as red alert 2, the first one was ok and even though the graphics where pretty basic it was a very well thought out for the fisrt and i was amazed when i played the second at how much the graphics had changed and become better, there is also one good thing on the second that doesnt happen on the first even though it was a glitch, that poxy black thing that showed up on the skirmishe maps of red alert 1 that smashed the stuffing out of your base if it got close, it could seriously hinder you, so yeah, the second one is definately an improvement on the first one so your not really missing much

tis a fun game, i like using yuri clones to take over civilian vehicles and turning them into scouts hehe

I love the terror drones

Those little bastards make the game worth playing by themselves.

lol i never found any use for the terror drones, including in the campaigns, i was very reluctant to use them at all, my favourite personel were the apocolypse tanks and the tesla troopers, they were so much fun

Just send like 30-40 of em at a base and watch the hell break loose

its so boring, they are only good for grabbing infantry by the neck and then jumping into a vehicle and blowing it up from the inside, thats all they can do it is so boring, why couldnt they create something that can attack infantry and aircraft like the apocolypse tanks, that would be more useful and then they could up the difficulty on the campaign as well just to make it more of a challenge
