Half Life 2 Shenanigans
So I was messing around with the NPC spawns tonight on HL2 and decided to try spawning Stalkers cuz I wanted a good look at the ugly bastards. Biiiiiiiig mistake. The game took a great disliking to Stalkers being in the highway area, and the first couple times I spawned them I died shortly after. Then I tried spawning one again, and the game froze up and crashed. Then I tried yet again, the game froze up and the comp wouldn't force quit it or respond at all......then the electricity in the entire house went out for a few seconds. Biggest "oh shi-" moment I've had in a long time. Needless to say I'm a bit freaked out by it.

Interestingly enough, the bugger was aware of my presence and openly attacked me with his red laser beam of death, and it actually did damage. So evidently, at some point Valve had intended for you to fight Stalkers and programmed them to attack you. A shame you only get to see them a few instances in the game :/
Anyone else bothered messing with HL2 or had any interesting experiences to share? (and if there's a better place for this, feel free to move it, I just didn't want this spammed up by rellik259)

Yeah, I don't recommend you spawn the Stalkers...
I don't know why the game kept spazzing from them being on the highway though, because I spawned Dog and some Striders too and it didn't care. Although it kept spawning the Striders in the ground no matter how high up in the air I went xD

Have you got Garrys Mod installed? I had a quick look at this and it says that HL2 freezes if you spawn them if you don't have GM installed beforehand, apparently it won't freeze if you do this in Episode 1 without the mod.
