Thing is, we don't know much about Zack and Aeris's relationship. But we do know that she dated him when she had that conversation with Cloud just before Tifa showed up in a hawt purple dress in that carriage.

I don't mean to burst any bubbles and I know this is a Cloti club, but it's really not nice to sit and dis on the Clerith fans. Despite what's canon and what's not, you're still going to have Clerith fans no matter what. So instead of saying harsh things about Clerith fans, how about you just focus on all of your 'Clotiness'

It's merely debating, not bashing. I wouldn't be surprised if some Clerith fans bashed Cloti.

You'll find it funny, but we don't bash Clotis in our club. Clotis just seem to really enjoy bashing Cleriths for some unknown reason, when all we like to do is merely discuss our enjoyment with our preferring choice of pairing. All I'm asking is to please not bash Cleriths because they don't do it to you. How can you debate anyway when Cleriths don't even post in here?

Nice pics! We really needed some in here...
Crisis Core has shown us just how much Aerith loved Zack, and I have come to a good conclusion explaining why Aerith acts the way she does around Cloud in FF7. In the end of Crisis Core, Aerith senses that Zack has died and returned to the lifestream, just as she sensed that Elmyra's husband had died. She, for some reason finds that pretending that Zack left her for another girl is easier to except than the fact that he is dead, so she keeps up a false hope that he is alive, even though she knows he isn't. After his death though, she seems to be searching for someone else to filll the hole that he left behind. Then, in FF7, she meets Cloud the same way she met Zack, he was in SOLDIER like Zack, and he acts like Zack. If I were her, I would think he was heaven sent and that we were meant to be together, which I admit Aerith acts like. Then, she pushes herself onto Cloud for most of the first part of the game, despite never getting a response from him that that was what he wanted. But later she realizes that Cloud is not the person she wants him to be, and she realizes that her duty is to the planet, first and foremost. Not meaning to Clerith-bash here, but the tragic love story between Cloud and Aerith? I just don't see it. In the end, fate leads Aerith back to the person she wanted all along, and Cloud ends up with the person he had been pining after for most of his life 
I'm glad Crisis Core is out now, because it explains so much! Just my thoughts on some things...

After Cloud dunks Denzil into the purified water at the church, and the little kiddies are playing around Cloud, the camera focuses on Tifa's face a few seconds, she does a "chu" motion and smiles, Cloud smiles, and then we see Aerith playing with the two kiddies.
I didn't really see it the first time either, 'cause I was more hyped that we finally see Aerith's face in full view ^^
I'm surprised other people didn't post pics though; there's plenty out there!
You're theory makes much sense, 'cause I saw that ending scene in Japanese, and Aerith definitely felt something. Poor girl...
Now I want to play Crisis Core...But I don't have a PSP *pouts* |
