Love Beyond Death: A CloudxAerith Fanclub

This club is dedicated to the most beautiful pairing of all Final Fantasies, the pairing of Cloud and Aerith from FFVII. In this club, we believe that:

Cloud's only love during FFVII was Aerith.
Cloud and Aerith shared a mutual love based on caring, devotion, understanding, trust, and desire for one another.
Their love was NOT based on false pretenses.
Aerith was a beautiful woman who had the best of intentions toward all members of the party, who had the best of intentions toward saving the Planet, and who loved Cloud.

In this club, we do NOT accept:

Negative views about Cloud, Aerith, and/or their relationship (e.g. evil Aerith/submissive Cloud)
Pornography/Hentai
Debate against Devotion's interpretation of Cloud and Aerith's relationship
Trolling, spamming, and flaming of The Flower Girl and The Swordsman's views
Harrassment of The Flower Girl & The Swordsman's members
Posting of anti-Cleris images

I only ever got the impression that Cloud only thought of Tifa as a friend, despite what others say. They're not my fave characters Aeris and Cloud, but they'd make a better couple XD

Let's get this club going, shall we?

As we all know Clorith (Cleris, whichever you perfer.) is a great couple. Now, my question to you is. Those photobucket links that Lady Aerith graciously provided in her first post. If you could take one picture from any of those photobuckets that would describe the Clorith relation. Which picture would it be and why?

I would have to say this picture. Why? Because they're just so happy with each other. Always smiling at each other, without a care in the world. There's one saying that comes to my head when I think of Clorith. "Within your warm embrace, my heart shall find a place."

Awesome picture, Omni! I love doujin pics. They truly are beautiful. I have a few faves I'll post here in a moment. We can do like an art perspective and what our favorite arts are and why they stand out to us, etc...

Did you guys notice too that Aerith was really the only one to truly bring out emotions in Cloud? I mean in the beginning of the game they both laughed together, Aerith was the only one that could make Cloud smile AND make him cry. I think that's definantly saying something there, and it's even the same in the movie. Aerith made him truly smile at the end of it. Also the scene in the park in the game where Cloud and Aerith were sitting on the moogle together *SQUEEE!* I just love it! I think I might draw that scene actually! xD

Are You Alright?
*sighs* Aerith and Cloud's real, true meeting. Yes I know they met in Midgar and he bought a flower from her, but this where it truly happened. I just love the tender, gentle gesture Aerith is making towards him, and the sleepy confused and sweet look on Cloud's face. He probably thought he was looking into the face of angel when he woke up in her flowerbed.

What About Us?
This one truly sticks out in my mind as Cloud trying to get over the initial shock of Aerith being dead. I think when she was killed was when the swordsman realized his true feelings for the beautiful flower girl. I think at this point in time, Cloud was struggling with that realization right before he breaks down. (I actually want to redraw this one in my own style, so keep your eyes out)

Aerith Will No Longer Laugh, Cry or Get Angry
This one really portrays the amount of pain, anguish and grief Cloud felt as soon as he realized that Aerith was gone. I love the expression he is making as he holds the woman he loves in his arms, not wanting to believe it, but the impact of her death hitting him with full force.

Never Let Go
Being reunited. I think this is how the two would act if they were reunited. I love the body language in this one and how the two are just clinging to one another. It truly portrays the emotions and feelings to one another.
