I can see Vaan And Yuffie working out well.

Can I join this club? I've always loved the idea of crossover-pairings in FF, partly because sometimes a fave character doesn't have anyone I would like to see her/him paired with in their own game.

I like the idea of Quistis/Rufus as well.

Somehow Lulu/Kain interests me, maybe because they're both a little dark and brooding.

And then I see Terra/ Vincent and I would love to see Irvine and Rydia interact.

Wow how fun I actually have always compaired characters and who would make interesting partners and I think

Yuffie X Zidane would be really funny

Terra x Cloud

You know I could really see them together this one could easily work Terra and Cloud both have deeply troubled personalities and disturbed pasts. They both have had complete break downs and both have been enemies turned good by a change or just by chance. Cloud is distant and withdrawn, then starts to warm up to the people around him only to find Sephiroth is back and his past is about to catch up with him. Terra wakes up with no memory and no idea who she is or what she’s done. She then is entrusted to Locke’s care who promises to protect her and fights to keep his word. Terra goes through the game being extremely troubled and her journey seems to go from bad to worse when it turns out her connection to the espers is because she herself is only half human. This information sends her over the edge a bit and she disappears for a while leading to a long search only to find she has lost her mind due to her fear of herself and her strange abilities. Cloud and Terra through these experiences share a bond or a similar experience Cloud himself through the discovery that he was a failed Sephiroth clone and that his memories of those days when he returned to Neibelheim were apparently those of another man Zack. From this knowledge Cloud also proceeded to lose his mind and vanish from your party for a fair while. Leaving the others to try and carry on fighting against Sephiroth without him. Cloud eventually returns and with Tifa’s help comes to the conclusion that he is in fact real and that he was there just not as the person he believed he was. Terra also returned to normal after they agreed to help her and she came to terms with what she was. Unlike Cloud however Terra’s identity was as it seemed only half human. They match they fit together both have been dealt a heavy blow and both have to accept and move on. I think they would relate to each other and find they have more things in common than the realize. The only hinderance would be Terra's lack of understanding when it comes to love and her own feelings, and Cloud's reluctance to actually be involved with someone. But I think they'd make a good match.


Cloud and Yuna

These two are also a good pairing this one could work. And going back to game situations Yuna is a calm, determined and rather strong willed character. She if in Tifa’s place I think would handle Cloud’s situation and story a lot better. She’s a lot calmer and a more rational person, I think if put in the position of having to deal with her own problems as well as Cloud’s that she could manage with the knowledge and grief of both their situations. I think Yuna being prepared to give so much through planning to willingly give her life could handle the strain of it all. Again I think Yuna would have tried to reach Cloud and stayed with him through it all just as Tifa did but Yuna being a calmer and at times stronger person especially towards the end of the game would be able to do so I think somewhat easier. Though it does raise the question of would he question Yevon and their teachings (going by game event) or would he accept it as fact that the summoner has to die. I think Cloud would definitely object to the teachings as well, I think Cloud wouldn't care about the teachings or how many traditions he would be breaking I think all he’d care about is protecting Yuna and keeping her alive. And again if Yuna were in Tifa’s place would she be as willing to give everything she has for Cloud and be completely and blindly devoted even if it meant it could possibly lead her to her death. And the answer I think is yes again that she would be quite willing to give her life for him. Considering she was going to do so for Spira anyway. So those two could be interesting as well.

I also really like the Quistis and Rufus idea someone mentioned earlier that pairing I think would be interesting.
