Well, I guess there's nothing wrong with pairing Kimahri and Fran getting paired together. Although I don't want two characters to be paired solely on the fact that they're both non-humans. But I think they can appreciate each other's personality

Although I haven't played FFXII much, some people have said that if there's a canon pairing of FFXII, it would be Balthier/Fran.

It would be interesting to see just basic interaction between characters of different FF games. Since people can say that later FF game characters are based off the FF characters before them ^^

Well, I guess with FFX Yuna could do with be protected by a strong, confident woman like Faris ^^

But although I despise FFX-2 Yuna, I could see the two of them searching for spheres and enjoying the sky together.

Bright, cheerful, rational Penelo could probably counter Cloud's self-pity trip he had going for him I suppose. I honestly never thought about them together, so I can't really wrap my head around the concept of those two together >__<

I was thinking more of X Yuna and Faris. I don't think Faris would like X2 Yuna. XD

I've been thinking more about Faris and what about Faris and Balthier? They're both pirates, and the seem like they would balance each other out real well. And Faris would totally wear the pants in that relationship XD.

But seriously, I think Balthier had a genuine passion for flying, and Faris definitely does as well, so they can connect in that way, and from there, who knows

- FFX Yuna & FFXII Basch (a very unlikely possibility!)

Those are some interesting pairings, but can you explain why you like them >__<

Although for Eiko, I kind of have a bias against minors in a romance; I have a hard time seeing great emotional depth of romance with those that are 14-15 and under O_o

Well, as far as Steiner and Ashe goes, I could see Steiner protecting her with his life, just as he does with Garnet/Dagger, so I thought that would be a good pairing; Auron and Beatrix are an interesting pairing as I believe that they would be effective guardians for summoners on their pilgrimages; Tifa and Balthier could go well together as I feel that she would learn Balthier's ways as a sky pirate while having fun at the same time; Rinoa and Vaan, similar reason, they would have a lot of fun looking for treasures; Eiko and Kytes would go well together since Kytes can defeat foes with his Black magic while Eiko would protect themselves by using her White magic and summoning Eidolons/Espers/GFs/aeons; Yuna and Basch are interesting because despite the age difference Basch would protect her like he defended his kingdom, even when he was set up by his brother who made it appear as though he killed the king.
