This is a club made up of the Final Fantasy RP musicians and lore. Also this guild specializes in knowledge seeking but the main focus is music. All that is needed to join is a character that plays an instrument. No new profile is needed; you can add the instrument to a current profile. But if you want to create a new profile its fine.

Also if you want to use club locations feel free to use them. But you must give credit to the Club and creator.

Requirements to join are:<o:p></o:p>

One Character Profile that is approved.<o:p></o:p>
The Character must play an instrument or sing.<o:p></o:p>
That you enjoy music of any type.<o:p></o:p>

To Join please post that you want to and Character name and instrument the character plays. Also include how your character learned how to play or sing in the post, but not required. Then you must get accepted by me and then if you do get accepted you will see your name on the following list. Exceptions may be made, but don't expect one to be made for you.

You are allowed to join an RP music group to the club. But must have a bio for them all or just the head of the band.

Guild Leader
The Guild Leader is Maxis but he is usally out around the world playing his Lute. While he is out the isle is ran by his younger brother Maspy. Maxis usally stays out for two weeks or so and come back for a month or two to check on guild. Also Maxis will stay on the isle if the races on the surface are having a war.

Moogles
The Moogles that live o the isle looks like the Final Fantasy XII Ones to let you know.

Guild Locations

Ottilatic - Club Headquarters

Ottilatic, the floating isle and headquarters of The Music Guild. This place also houses the greatest Library in the world. It is about twenty-six square acres. The isle is filled with different architecture from around the world. The main land mark on the isle is the tower that is in the center of the isle. Which resembles a tall monolith, that can see over the whole isle. This tower houses the Harp of Ottilatic, which when played does many things including moving the isle and activating the magic shield. At the base is a library filled with books and musical scores from all over the world. The actual book storage is underground and the books cover almost all topics of study. These books and scores are allowed to be taken to anywhere on the isle. But not off of. Also, guild operations are conducted from here.

The under side of the isle is extremely rocky except for the Underdome. This dome is used to see what is underneath the isle at all times. Also, this dome has no entrances just windows.

Other facility on the isle is as follows:<o:p></o:p>

The dormitories are located near the central tower. The dormitories look like long stone buildings with steep roofs. These facilities house the isle staff of moogles. Also the kitchens are located here for the entire isle. All food is bought to the guests and other people.<o:p></o:p>
The guest houses are located opposite of the dormitories. They have the far eastern feel and style about them. But they are made of more steady materials. They are very well furnished.
There are gyms for training the martial skills of the members and the moogles are on the safe side and have infirmaries nearby the gyms.
There are concert halls for people to play for the moogle workers and for others. Most are used for practicing.
The moogles have storage sheds and trading posts to sell moogle trinkets and other moogle goods to those vistors. The items they sell is moogle food, magical devices, and some other items from all over the world.
Many courtyards and parks are near the edge so people can have a nice view of the surrounding ground.
Also there is a beautiful pond for swimming and sitting near.
Along the edge of the isle are airship docks for airships of varying sizes. There are only two main docks for airships. <o:p></o:p>

Guild Sects

The Seekers

Seal of the Seekers- A Book with a Blue Ribbon around it.

They are the sect of The Music Guild that governs the searching and retrieval of Knowledge. Their Meeting room is below the Library. They go out over the world in search of knowledge or gather knowledge from their homes and send it to Ottilatic to be put in the Library there. They are a rather secret group in what knowledge and stuff they are after. Also, they are the only ones allowed to the forbidden lore room in the library for they are the deemers of forbidden knowledge.

Seekers also get a special item, called the Book of Transcript. It allows Seekers to copy books and scrolls by touching the book to the item if instantly copies it. But the book must be bought back to Ottilatic to have the knowledge removed and place in the library. The book may only have one book copied in it. Also this book can allow seekers to copy books in the Library for reference on missions. The book is black with the seal of the seekers on it.

The Keepers

Seal of the Keepers - A book with a chain around it.

These are the moogles who watch over the library and the knowledge contained in. They are the librarians and and guards to the library. Some are mighty moogle knights and others are great lorekeepers.

The Musicians

Seal of the Musicians - A Trumpet

This is the largest Sect. These are the moogles and people that are musicians. Also the moogles put on a concert every other night. Their music is diverse every time they play. They never play the same song twice. Also everyone else belongs to this sect.

I'll join as myself, Julius Silverwing

My instrument: Piano

Julius went to the Rothlain School of Art and Music located in the country of Aldabra. He entered the school at the age of 6 as another course added to his extensive training program in politics, literature, military strategy and science. He was renown for his skills, the music he playes was charming and beautiful, which earned him the respect of his collegues and won him many awards. Julius played the piano during many social events that include the coronation of Darkblade when Julius was 15 years old.

I shall be Shenorai as a Vocalist (singer...yes, voices can be instruments, too

).

Boredom can strike while just walking from here to there. So, with Leondra's help yet again, Shenorai learned to sing with enough emotion to affect things around her. Though she can be caught humming now and again, no one is in danger unless they hear a mysterious, younger voice flowing to harmonize with Shen's voice.

Once I get finished with Silver Moogles I will start thinking of an RP to take them through. Which is slow progress. Please Post Suggestions and ideas for an RP.

I want to include a decent amount of airships.

Hmm...well, if you want airships involved...how about floating cities? Or something of the like?

Yes that what i was thinking too. I should make a Club location for it or use a current FF location. I think the town will have to be pretty high tech if it flys.

if i can i am FFGuy and i will play electric guitar

as a pasttime in alexandria FFGuy took time to practice music with the rest of the knights of pluto and became quite successful with his instrument, the electric guitar, he appeared in many concerts and sometimes was questioned whether he was better at music or battle but the truth is that his skill in music is just as great as his talent in battle.

Heh...make it a bit of a 'base of operations' for the MG?

Well, it's either advanced technology or advanced magic. Considering the nature of this guild, I'd say the latter.

If you've played FFIX, do you remember Cleyra? They used a gem along with a harp and a river dance in order to strengthen its magic. Perhaps something similar could be done for the floating islands. Maybe a magic chamber at the core of each island just for such a ceremony.
