People of NSW - Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney...
How bad was the weather! I go to pick up my mum from work on Friday and end up getting stranded by flood waters. Had to drive through flood waters that pretty much covered my tires.. almost up to the bonnet. Had to stay at a McDonalds for about 3 hours until I decided to find my way to my uncles place who lived kinda near by. There was no way I was gonna get back to my place. There were alot of U-turns to be made to avoid the damn flood.
Then I get home the next day and the power is out... Only got the power back around 12pm today...
Plus a cargo ship ran aground on Nobby's beach in Newcastle. Its one hell of a site...
Glad its all good. my car survived, house is ok, its all good.

It sounded bad on the news. My mum lives in Tassie, so she's well away from it, but my husbands family live in Newcastle and we managed to ring them last night, all OK. Thank goodness.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Here are the pics I took. First pic was from where I was parked so you can get a feel for where the ship was relative to the shore...
