That's right children, Ghostbuster game. WOO!

It's for all major consoles and PC. The Wii (the version I'm most likely getting which is why I've posted this here) and PS2 version as well (I think) will be 1-4 player and will have the story mode as we as having a series of multiplayer challenges, roughly translated it means a more party themed experience which is pretty typical for games developers these days when it comes to the Wii.

The PS3 and 360 and probably the PC versions will be 1-2 player and will most likely be suited more for single and cooperative play. The game itself will be based on a third movie would have been (or is according to a pal) and will have the talents of the three original Ghostbusters involved in both script and voice acting as well.

Dana will not be appearing in the game and from what I've heard you might actually be starring as some raw recruit which will suck.

The below screenshot says it all really about how full of awsomeness this game could be.

If this game ends up sucking then people will die.

I think I just came.

It's about bloody time though, I've always been amazed that there hasn't been a Ghostbusters game so far.
I'm totally sold for it off that one screenshot though.

I remember seeing a couple of teaser trailers months ago on youtube and they looked very promising. Although they were in very early development, the video of the powerpacks in action looked promising.

I can see that being insanely fun if there's a good multiplayer system on it. Really can't wait for it. =]

I wouldn't get your hopes too high. A Ghostbuster game? I'd say the chances of it being mediocre to downright terrible are fairly high. Games based off movies don't seem to do very well.

Yeah, seen it on the cover of a games mag, but I thought it was a 360 game. Coolio though.

it should be coming out the way they were talking about how they were going to try and call it Ghostbusters 3, and having demo's of the game to game informer

I'm not expecting a GOTY contender here but the fact that it's Ghostbusters means that I would accept an average game if the script/lines is up to standard of the films. Of course it's the cooperative mode I'm most interested in here and hopefully it'll be a good laugh.

Or else people will die.
