My brother has Super Mario Galaxy, I've seen him play it some, it looks fun, he's gotten through the game, can't remember how many stars he's gotten towards all 120 now though, but I know he is well on his way.
So there's something good available when you get all 120 stars?
I'm working on that now, just got 14 more stars today, I've got 107 stars now, just 13 more to go...
Wait, you can play as Luigi? Do you get to restart with Luigi and get the 120 stars all over again with him? Or is it just replaying completed stages as Luigi?
But being able to use Luigi isn't the only thing you get for getting all 120 stars, is it? Isn't there some other place you can go to once you have all the stars? What is that place like?

The place is the same place that you start the game off with. Only with mario of course. The star ceremony thingie..where peach gets abducted and stuff. Its just that but with lots of monsters that appear from all levels throughout the game.

Hm... Seems like I'm gonna make a bump, but this thread made me want to post.
I absolutely adore the soundtrack to this game. It was video game music, yes, but it had some freaking memorable tracks. (Space Junk Galaxy, Good Egg Galaxy, Gusty Garden Galaxy anyone?) and of course, the gameplay was the clincher. I'm using Weegi for the next set of 120 stars. (Replay value, but only just a little. It's funner when you treat it as a new game, and you take a break from the game itself for a month or two.) and I'm loving it as of now. I have about 45-some stars, and So far, the only two things that really make me mad are the Camera Angles, and the traction that Weegi has. I mean, seriously, anyone else think that he slides just a tad too much? I know that he's light and has always had that little slide to his jump, but the person who designed this game took it just a little too far and made him slide a freaking mile before stopping completely.

Luigi has always handled like that, he's always had a better jump than Mario and slides alot more when stopping. I think it's a nice touch although on some of the levels I can see that being a pain.

Well, what everyone's said already of Playing with luigi. It's as if you started a new game... but luigi instead of mario. The only differences are that luigi jumps much more... I skipped like 1/3 of a level due to jumping higher, and that he slides...

I don't see how I'm going to complete that Luigi's Purple Coins mission in Toy Time Galaxy, it's insanely difficult...
That it's a 121th star for each and after getting it with both luigi and mario you can see how many lives you lost... not anything special, but if you're a hardcore mario fan who looks for a 100% completion, you need that.
And the Luigi coind is Easy if you plan your way around:
TIPS: - Try only to step on the platforms with coins, for you'll have to return to the initaial square later on.
- If you don't get the coin you aimed for, forget it... there are 50 extra coins and that's a lot of coins.
"Guide": - Go to the right first, making good use of long jumps (Takes just a little bit of practice to aim well and quick enough) and then return (There are two ssets of coins)
- After go fetch the life (stick to the right side) and return.
By then you should have 100 of the 150 coins in not too much time, just make sure you allowed yourself to return to the initial square.
Rene Skylar:"Well Julius knows about the weed, Faith knows about the drinking, Zeria knows about them both and Shannon knows about the drinking lol" Just DON'T READ! Please...

Thought it was one of the most original ideas for game play I have seen in a long time. It is so much fun, just like Mario 64 was. The music is fantastic since it is so many old favorites and many themas from Mario 64.
I have been taking my time with the game, not rushing through it, just enjoying it completely. It is game play like this that makes me love Nintendo and their approach to game design.
