...I never actually attributed my queasiness to the spinning planets. It's never usually a problem before. I thought it was something in the room I was smelling.

But that's some kind of a game then.

EDIT/bump: Did anyone notice that if you remove the letters in the title from the front cover with the stars on it, you get a sublime, but interesting message?

Isn't this game supposed to like the next Mario 64 and have some sort of weird physics to it? :weird:
I really need to find a friend who has this game because it sounds great.

Only played it for a couple of hours but it's really quite fun especially after I got the controls semi-mastered. A mate of mine is playing it the now is loving it and he hated Mario 64, they must have done something right.

There's a certain charm to the game which is something that Sunshine and even 64 to an extent didn't have. Probably because of the little retro touches it has.

Noticed the Battleship theme from Mario Bros 3 which was awesome.

I do wish they would finally get rid of the tiresome 'Peach is captured' story, the silly bitch can save herself for once. A new thing involving this Rosalina would have been a bit better.

I didn't like Mario 64 (really dunno why; i just found it boring) but when i start playing Galaxy i can't stop until i finish it. All galaxies and levels were creative, fun and a perfect mix between new things and retro stuff.

And the story of Rosalina was surprising, touching and a really nice addition. It's weird to find such mature and dramatic story in a Mario game; but somehow it just make the game more special.

If you don't like the cliche of saving the princess, there's always Mario RPG and Mario and Luigi SaGa, which involve saving the entire world rather than simply just Peach. In fact, Peach is a party member in Mario RPG.

I've got and completed pretty much all of them. It's more an annoying niggle than anything else anyway since it doesn't affect the gameplay or anything important.

For me, Mario 64 was fun during the lower levels of the game. But then when you start going up the stairs the levels start to suck. Like the one where you have to keep raising and lowering the water. Completely annoying. At least you don't have to get all the stars in the game.

And Mario 64 really didn't have any memorable music. Most of the music in the game was bland. When I play Galaxy, it takes me a while to recognize that an old tune is from 64. And it had the worst main theme of all. Completely forgettable.

Never played Sunshine.

In Galaxy, the levels were much more creative and intersting. So much that I got every star in the game.

I finally got round to beating the basic game last week and it was a pretty sweet game overall. I'll get round to getting 100% at some point for the secret that it unlocks but got way too much in my backlog atm.

I have to say that Toy Town Galaxy was easily my fave galaxy, the whole retro theme it had was pretty damn awesome.

I do wonder how they can possibly improve on this.

I just got this game yesterday, and it is pretty fun. It took me a while to figure out that Mario can kick the goombas after he knocks them over, though....

I only have four stars so far. I'm going to play it now
