Mario and Sonic at the Olympics
I remember this thread but it has disappeared, so I thought I'd make another. Well I have recently played this game and think it is brilliant so I have told my girlfriend to get me it for Christmas.

Meh... I'm not so charmed by this game... Mario and SONIC at the olympics...? If that's the case, then shouldn't Sonic win every freaking time? I mean, he's faster and fitter than Mario so, it shouldn't be a contest...

In the olympics there are more contests than speed-related ones. Sonic could win at 100 metres but Mario could win at hammer throw.

I've heard the game's mediocre...which I can totally believe. I've never been a fan of games that consist solely of mini-games.

i think that sonic will thrash mario o matter what, he is faster and fitter, mario doesn't stnad a chance unless he throws pipes at him

Mario has more upper-body strength. That little dude can pick a tank like Bowser up and toss him out of a ring. That's like lifting roughly 100x your own body weight. No way Sonic could pull that off.

Sonic could outrun Mario, but there's plenty of strength-related events that Mario would dominate at.

well sonic aint exactly weak is he, it would be close between them even though mario can pick up bowser like in mario 64 on the nintendo but that was the only way to beat him in the game, he wouldn't be like that in the olympics against sonic
