Wtf????

I'm hugely confused (and worried).
At the end of the first game, we are left with Sora, Donald and Goofy kicking Xehanort's heartless's ass and taking a stroll in Disney Land. At the start of KH2 (cutscene), it appears that Sora has defeated a member of the Organisation (long hair and a scythe) and has been Spontaneously locked in a lotus-shaped cage by Namine as she peices him together (after taking him apart). Also, after scanning some sites, I find out that five members of the org are already dead after some conspiracies. WTF?

1) Is Chain of Memories relavant?
2) Why do Sora and Co. not know about the Org when they have fought a member?
3) Why did Namine have to take him apart?
4) WTF happened with the five already dead members??
5) Why is it so necessary that the Org are stopped?
6) When Kairi/Sora were restored to their bodies in KH1, how can their nobodies still exist? Logically, when you make someone into a heartless, they are in two pieces: Their heart and their body. So if their hearts are restored to their bodies, then there is no nobody left. Am i right?

I have completed the game, but i fail to understand a lot of it. Please help me out!

PS, has anyone noticed, that when someone is turned into a heartless, it is their heart that has formed into a heartless. So a heart (which is the creature) without a heart (suggested by the name heartLESS) is just like:
Heart - Heart = a Heartless creature, when logically speaking, there cannot be anything at all. The same applies for a nobody.
Body - Body = a Nobody. Should it be the other way around?

1) Yes.
2)Because part of his memories were lost, I think that Namine was unable to return all of his memories...I guess....Riku help.
3)Because part of his heart, his whole being was affected by the darkness of Castle Oblivion (and because he lost part of his own self when he became a heartless).
4)They have disappeared, returned to the darkness.
5) Because they are trying to conquer the power of Kingdom Hearts, which is the heart of all words, created by countless hearts of human beings, the source of unlimited power, and the very reason why Xehanort started all this chaos.
6)First, Kairi was never trasformed into a heartless, therefor her Nobody was born incomplete, Namine in fact is not a nobody, she is something else.

When Sora was trasnformed into a heartless, he left his essence, his light, his very own body behind, and thus Roxas was created. When the heart of Sora left his body, that same heart was consumed by the darkness giving birth to a heartless.

Heartless = Hearts surrounded in darkness or those who are lost in the darkness of the hearts itself.

Nobodies: Essence, body, half of the soul left behind when a person lost his/her heart. They hold the memories of their past self and only fragments of their name are left behind.

Because of his strong heart, Sora was able to retain some of his own will without being a mindless predator. Kairi, whose heart was restored because of Sora, found a bit of light that was fading away inside of the heartless Sora. Not knowing how, she rescued Sora from the deepts of darkness without needing the essence of Sora's nobody. Even though he was human again, part of his memory was shattered and left behind in a container, Roxas.

I'm confused myself. Are you asking how some of the Org members died?

The hearts do not get restored to their "bodies", the hearts find the light again. Since it's only happened to both Kairi and Sora, we can only assume that's what happens when hearts are pure light.

The Heartless are not made of hearts, they consume them. They are created from the darkness IN people's hearts, not from the hearts themselves.

Nobodies are created when the heart leaves the body. Ergo, a heartless cannot exist without a Nobody. The Nobody exists without an identiy because he has no heart.

Big help, both of you.
I AM curious (as to how people know as well) about what happened to the org.
I'm still retardedly confused about the whole oxymoronic heartless/nobody non-existence debate, seeing as a heart consumed by a heartless is a heart nontheless (< love that word

) and it still can't exist according to its name. Same for nobodies.

Is there a storyline Q&A thread?
Or a Kingdom Hearts/FFX philosophy thread?
I'd be great at that. Despite my random/blunt exterior, I can be very philosophicaliful.

uhh no, Castle Oblivion was the main location of COM where 5 of the members of the org once were located, the castle that never was is the final place to go to in kh2

If you pay attention to the game so much that you put off eating for three days (like me) then you would get it. I'm just a maniac but I can help. Anyways the Heartless are formed when a person has his heart stolen by another heartless (don't ask how the first heartless was formed it just was). And a nobody is formed when a person with a strong will such as Sora loses his heart part of his soul stays in his heart when the heartless is born ergo a Nobody (Nobody equals Heartless with fragments of the livings soul). Anyways I hope that cleans up the Heartless/Nobody Dilema... (I hope I got that right).

The very first Heartless were created when Ansem the Wise (the ruler of Hollow Bastion, once known as Radiant Garden) started experimenting with hearts and the power of darkness. Eventually, he collapsed the hearts of some of his willing test subjects (including one Organization members), which created the first Heartless. Xehanort, Ansem's mysterious protege, developed an interest in them, and researched ways of creating more behind his teacher's back. The first set of Ansem's Report found in KH1 were actually written by Xehanort, under the guise of Ansem.
So, that's their origin.
