Proud Mode...
... were you disappointed with it? During the last month or so, I've been playing KH2 on Proud mode again without much training. That said, I found common Nobodies more challenging than bosses, and found myself in more trouble within random encounters than I did with the likes of Saix or Xaldin.
Anyone else felt let down by the lack of challenge on Proud? The gameplay seemed no different, and opponents dealt only a little bit more damage than usual. Did you find bosses more difficult? Exactly the same?

I Struggled through the first few bosses on proud but after i got a decent keyblade i found myself Breezing through the worlds.
i was dissapointed in proud Mode.
it only seemed like the enemies hit slightly harder and they had abit more HP.
i wouldnt exactly call it "Proud" lol

Hence why Square Enix created Critical Mode on Final Mix+. It's hard from beginning to end, and don't get me started the optional bosses on Critical Mode.

You couldn't have said it any clearer for me, to be honest. I felt the exact same way.
However, on the advanced mode in Kingdom Hearts, I found that I struggled quite a bit. It might be a case of improper balance testing.

I found few bosses in Proud Mode a lot easier than in normal mode. For example, when I fought Prison Keeper on normal mode I died a lot, but when I fought Prison Cage in Proud Mode I beated it without taking damage.
