KH1 vs KH2 differences
okay simple question, anyone notice character changes, world changes etc in the game, i would have to say the most noticeable on would be the difference of riku, kairi, sora and cloud... obviously but did anyone else notice the difference of sephiroth and the castle in hollow bastion?

I noticed a lot of changes and most of those changes were for the good.
It seemed that Sora, Riku and Kairi were finally growing up a little. Not that they were mature enough in the first game. I noticed a lot more anger in Sora this time around and it seemed that Kairi played a better role this time. As for Riku, he kept us all guessing where he was and what he was up to.
I also loved the new battle system, where you had more options to choose from such as the Drive Form. I loved the Drive Form so much because it gives you a boost in power.

yeah i noticed the characters were much more mature (especially riku since he doesn't act so cool anymore)
i also noticed kh2 is more of a straightforward game
whereas kh1 you had to actually explore
chest are rigt in frount of you in kh2 but you had to climb and search for them in kh1

hmmm that is true, but did anyone notice that sephiroth has an extra two wings under his cloak that comes out between his legs? that looked kinda stupid if you as me

I liked the fact that this was a lot more strategic. Halfway through KH1, you were able to equip curaga to X, and just ammer X, and hold L too, when you need health. The combination of reactions, drives, new summons and special abilities make KH2 much more interesting to play.

The difference in KH1 is that it is harder in combat, less worlds, and the gummy ship battles stink and in KH2 the combat is easier, in more worlds, and the gummy ship battles are actually halfway decent.

i'm not only asking about the game play etc, i'm also saying about the character development as well as their costume design, world changes etc, like you go to hollow bastion and its differen't etc

I think the new battle system made the game more interesting to play, but it also made the game easier. I died a few times in KH1, but in KH2 I only died a few times near the end.
And yea, Im glad they changed a lot or else it would have been a really lame rehash of levels.
I'm really happy they changed the Little Mermaid level cause the control and fighting was pretty bad in KH1.

i notice that Aireth i think thats how u spell it not sure-- sumone else plays 4 her & instead of having Samba has a summon u get to go to the world & sora looks way more better in is new look in KH2 plis the overdrive-- well if i think of anything else then ya i'll be sure to tell
