I was reading everyones favorite worlds, and it seems that Halloween Town and Hollow Bastion top the list. I can see whay many people love Halloween town, what with all the little goth's obsession with the movie. But Hollow Bastion? Yeah, the music was cool, but it was just a drab, boring old castle with lots of enemies to me.

My favorite world was probably Destiny Islands. It just has a really great atmosphere to me. Wonderland is second.

If you have yet to play Kingdom Hearts, I don't recommend reading this post. If you're browsing Kingdom Hearts-related threads before playing the game, then I should assume you don't care about spoilers.

I enjoyed the events that took place at Hollow Bastion. Riku's betrayal (if you'd like to call it that), the epic battles against Maleficent Dragon and Riku/Ansem, Kairi's awakening, Sora becoming a heartless, etc...

Hollow Bastion is easily the best world. Events aside, I love the design of the world. It's just plain fun to explore.

Adding to what VoN said about Hollow, it also is one of the only places that is somewhat challenging. Most of the world's monsters are pathetically weak.

What's up with The Little Mermaid? That part of the game is annoying and hard (controls) in KH, and just retarted in KH2. Why, oh why is there a singing minigame!?

True, true. Compared to the rest of the game, Hollow Bastion could definitely be considered a challenge.

And I STILL have no way of explaining why the people behind Kingdom Hearts II made Atlantica into some crappy singing fest. How in the hell did they look at the final product and say something like, "Gee! We've really hit the nail on the head this time! Atlantica is great! Our fans are gonna love this singing mini-game world"?

I don't understand. Atlantica was inexcusably horrific.

Atlantica was pretty horrific. But I think the biggest horror of the music game was the exclusion of Kiss the Girl.

I actually love Disney music. =D

I just...don't want to hear Goofy, Donald or Sora sing. As far as videogames go, I wouldn't have minded a more entertaining world.

But yeah, they might as well of added all the good stuff from the movie! Go all out...even if the outcome is painful.

If they just felt the need to make a singing mini game, at least put it in Haloween Town. Better yet, don't put one in the game in the first place.

i loved everything about the game except the party members you get in each world, they were a pain in the ass during the optional boss fights.

and i hated riku, ansem, and sephiroth!!!
