There has to be a winner, or else there's no point in holding the competition at all. Unless the person who added the extra vote for #3 comes a long and posts... I'm willing to suggest that we declare the competition a draw and give both entries a point on the Clan Scoreboard. We'll have to leave the SOTW Box as it is until next week.

I could try it now, and if it doesn't work then we can ask Setsuken if it's immediately possible any other way. I don't want to pile more on to his plate at the moment, and I'd prefer that this was resolved quickly to prevent confusion.

I'm fine with the idea John, but I do think it's only fair to put a winning signature in the box for a week. Or we could do as what Mark suggested if it's possible. Or just wait for 3 - 5 more members to post their pick. It's such a close call that we want to make it so that one signature is the definite point for winning this week's competition.

Okay, sounds fair.
Anyway, I think you guys should always have the poll closed after 7 days (I know it was done this way) and once the poll closes, that's it. Count up the posts and make sure that the votes and posts matches up. Making the voting in public would be beneficial that way we can always check and remind those who has voted (but did not make a post) via PM to make a post for their entry to count. It wasn't made public this week so we really had no way of contacting the member.
And in case of a tie when the poll do close, I think making a whole new thread and poll featuring only the two signatures would be best in terms of fairness.
