RP Photoshop Junkyard

I have been working with photoshop for almost a year now and I am by no means an expert, but I do hope that I am improving.

Here is a little bit of my recent junk

Critiques and comments are appreciated.

Wow, your style is indeed different from most. I like the 3rd one from the top, especially the text. It's quite unique.

I'm not sure what to think about the square though. Granted, it's a cool idea, but perhaps try to do something in it rather than sticking with black and white.

I think that text is called bleeding cowboy. Yeah, it was actually a request and the person that requested it asked for the grey box, but I see what you mean.

Your shit's really awesome.
The third one is one of the best.
I also fancy the Ichigo tag.
I can tell you use LJ, right?

The only one I'll complain about is 1. One looks a bit awkward because it contains a flipped and desaturated crop of the original stock. It seems to be screwing the focus and imbalancing the tag...

Oooh your new ones are definitely hot! I especially like the first new one. The building is a good effect considering where the character's positioned. Very nice.

1st one : i think pfft lmao needs more and i'd lose the right side part

2nd one : rocks though, you've blended the focal a bit too much and add a border to it to clean it up a bit ( new layer, ctrl +A, goto Edit, stroke, first one 3px black, second one 1px white set the layer to overlay

)

3rd one : not too bad but the focal needs some work and it's a big bit in my opinion

4th one : nice BG and i like the " aura " round the focal but the focal could be a bit bolder

5th one : same opinion as the 3rd

6th one : I dont like it lol it's a nice size but it looks a mess personally so

nice work overall

That recent work is pretty good. Not too much going on in the background, although there's some subtle details here and there added to the sig which made it look cooler.

Yep, you're definitely improving, although you're already very good to start with. =] I'm not sure what to think of the text "Ghost" though. =/ I'm not very good with text myself, so I can't really offer any advices there. It's simple, I guess, but I heard that simple text usually tends to work well than those fancy ones, so I'm thinking it's all good.
