I will tell you the truth.
I am a bit shy about my makings, as I think they are a little crappy.
So I am here to ask for comments and criticisms..
I started playing with Adobe Photoshop (really just for clearing up my face from blemishes. ) when I was a freshman in highschool and I ignored it since then.
But lately, I have been inspired by the wonderful creations I see around here, that I read some tutorials and played again once more.
I made these last night.
(This is also the order I did them.)
Aya Brea from Parasite Eve.

Aya and Tooya from Ayashi No Ceres.

Cloud from FF7.

Tifa from FF7.

I know I keep making different versions and that's because I find it hard to distinguish which fits..
Let me know.

I gotta admit that I love your Backgrounds however you may want to add some Depth, and adding a few effects in front of you render, I maybe create a tutorial since I can't find the tutorial I used and I really wanted to post it. D:

Oh wow, you're really good. I do love the backgrounds too. You've now inspired me to do some Ayashi no Ceres and Aya sigs. xD Hmm, one thing though...try adding borders on some and see how it looks. It looks great as it is, but I'd like to see some borders just to see the difference. But overall, great job!

That would be great! If you could, please?
Because somehow, I don't know how to exact more depth, like you have stated. Gawd.

BORDERS!
That's a fantastic idea! I can't believe I totally missed that! Thank you Mitsuki!

I made a tutorial, but it doesn't include Depth, however You can add Depth by using the blur tool, and lower the strength of it. also select the surrounding of the render and right click > feather > 5px > okay, that would help a little actually.

You can add some depth by adding a cloud render (it's a default tool) on a low opacity. You can also use textures. Look 'em up.
Anyway, I like your sigs a lot. The only ones I don't like are the 2nd and 3rd sets of sigs. The 2nd's stock is too far on the left, and the 3rd's stock sticks out of the background.

Your borders are big (well in my opinion ) , as for the Aya and Ceres sig, I think you like to put them on the sides however a little closer to the center would be better.
Aerith sig there's too much white in it, it distracts me. D:

Try 1 or 2px borders they attract the attention away from the sig itself.
Along with what everyone else has said, try to blend the render into background as well to give it more depth. Clipping masks and lighting work wonders.
Don't worry about the text or font though. Very few people get it right first time.
Keep up the great work, you're definitely progressing!
