Wall-E
Well I was in the cinemas the other day when I saw the trailer for 'Wall-E'.
To be honest I found myself having laughing fits, Wall-E just looks like a pure Pixar masterpiece. xD
"WALL-E is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot and his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again.
Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. He doesn't know he can stop working. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL·E falls in love with EVE, a robot from a probe that comes down to recover the last plant left on Earth, which curious little Wall-E has picked up. He absolutely falls in love with her."
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall-Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I'm so hyped for this movie. xD

I found out about this a while ago, and kind of liked the look of it. I'd totally forgotten about it until now actually. I had no idea what the plot for it was until now either, and it sounds like it might be quite good actually. There's not a release date yet, is there?

Oh, I saw this preview when I went to go see Prince Caspian! It looks absolutely adorable. Poor little guy. Awww. I just wanted to jump, into the screen, and cuddle it. Lol. It looks really sweet and I've no doubt that I'll go to see it. Adorable.

I just checked then, apparently it comes out in the USA this Friday and then it comes out here on the 18th July. That probably means I'll have to sort out seeing it with someone because the trailer just cracks me up every time xD

Um, to be honest when I saw the trailer a few weeks ago, it didn't appeal to me at all. I don't really like anything that has to do with robots and the like. I'm not a big fan of Pixar - in fact, I don't really like any of the movies by Pixar. I doubt I'd see this movie in theatres, but I may buy the DVD for my daughter.

Pixar = geniuses
I love pretty much all their films to date (the two Toy Story films in particular are two of my all-time favourite films), they always put work into having a great script and plotline to match the visuals.
Very much looking forward to this when it comes out in the UK in mid-July. If it is up to their usual standards we're in for a real treat.

I was expecting it to get decent reviews from IMDB because it generally looked a great film...but I wasn't expecting it to get 9.1/10 overall and the 6th greatest film ever (8.8/10 by regular users).
I think I'll definitely take a trip to see it now.
