The Forbidden Kingdom
Finally, Jet Li and Jackie Chan together! I know it came out today, but I haven't seen it yet. Will do this weekend though, that's for sure. I read the plot real quick and it seems...cheesy, but I heard it's still very good anyway.

I wanna see this movie. It could be complete crap, but I'd still watch simply for the fact that Jet Li and Jackie Chan are together. Lots of ass kicking in this one, I bet.

There is, I just watched the trailer then!
Jackie Chan cracks me up in the trailer...like all other films he has done.
"We can kill each other when its over"
Looks an epic movie, especially with Jet Li and Jackie Chan both in it...I might give it a watch...and the bounty hunter looks hot, whoever she is!

I watched the trailer yesterday, and I was thinking of watching it as soon as it comes out. It seems like a funny, but cool movie.
Jet Li and Jackie Chan? Doubles the win even more.

Well, I just saw it earlier. It's actually pretty damn good, with lots of action mixed with comedy and cheesy parts. I must say that it's not a movie (environment and element style) I would have expected for both Jackie Chan and Jet Li to be together in, but it still works, I suppose. I was very impressed with their face-off, and I can tell that both are equal as far as fighting skills (movie-style anyway). It was choreographed very well, that's for sure.
The witch of the wolves (BingBing Li) was freakin' awesome! She's now my new favorite Chinese actress besides Zhang Ziyi and Gong Li. Talk about a female version of Sephiroth! (With a kick-ass whip to boot!)
Yiefi Lui (Golden Sparrow) is also very recognizable here, as she did splendid with her role.
Overall, great movie, and I suggest that those who are fans of Li and Chan...go see it now! I must warn you though...be prepared for that teenage kid. xD

Jet Li kicked ass! Though i got mad when they let Jet Li die but it was much cooler when i found out about the hair thing it made sense. When it comes to Jet Vs Chan Jet is beeter to me, he played in more serious movies like Kiss of The Dragon, Unleashed, and Jet Li Fearless. Bing Bing Li was a a cool chick she used her hair like syndel off of Mortal Kombat.

That's what I thought when I saw the trailer, it looked so damn cheesy.
The fact that Jet Li and Jackie Chan are BOTH in it is enough for me to buy the DVD alone. I will not pay money to sit in a cramped cinema and watch this, though. It's not nearly that interesting.

I actually enjoyed this movie. Mostly I guess because I went in knowing that it was going to be cheesy. It is a children's movie and to many people have overlooked that fact and set their expectations for some 'epic' martial arts film. But in the end, I think if you watch it for what its meant to be, it should be fairly entertaining.
