Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Who else has been watching this? its showing on Virgin1 here in the UK now and last night was the second episode.

I don't know what to think of it. It's interesting to watch (and the female Terminator is hawt) but it's contradicting a lot from the films. And the bad Terminator still being active despite it's head being completely separated from it's body is just lame.

Still early days yet, let's give it a couple more weeks.

I had no idea this even existed. I will probably give it a miss if it's raping the plot. Come to think of it, Im not even sure I even have that channel...

I guess I could give it a quick look over if I have it, altho I will no doubt never watch it again

It's basically ignoring the fact T3 ever happened, the day of Judgment Day has changed again as its now set in 2007, and its saying John was 13 instead of 10 during T2. Oh and apparently Sarah died of Cancer instead of the after mentioned Leukemia (I know its essentially the same but bah).

What really annoys me is how they have 4 breaks within it's hour slot. Some parts just aren't worth watching, ended up finishing FFV during all the breaks!

Lol, I don't mind ignoring T3 tbh, it was ok but meh, it just wasn't needed...

I hate adverts, they annoy me, I always end up changing channel and forgetting what I was watching

Though T3 was shit, the plot was had potential and I thought it closed the series well. What failed it was the fact it just wasn't violent enough. A Terminator film with a 12 rating does not work! and making the T-X essentially a hybrid of the previous two bad mofo's was OTT especially if she wasn't allowed to be too violent in fear of nudging that rating to a 15 lol. I would have just settled with an improved version of Arnie's model or the 'Infiltrator' model's seen in the novels.

It was defo missing the viloence, I wasn't scared in T3
The first 2 shit me right up, altho I was alot younger when I watched those. But still, they had a much more darker feel & they were epic. T1 was done on a budget of 50p yet is shits all over T3

The first two shit me up so much that me and my friend who was equally obsessed with the films decided to build a shelter in the woods to hide in for when August 29th 1997 came around in real life! We spent the entire 'Judgment Day' hiding and it annoyed my Dad because it happened to be his birthday.

I was told the time line was messed up. I still havent viewed it and my boyfriend only likes it cause Summer from Firefly is the Terminator and he loves her :/

Yeah in the second episode they find a time travel device which sends them forward to 2007, completely by-passing the events of T3.
