Stargate series
I just recently started watching Stargate, so I cannot say I am a huge fan...however, I do enjoy the series, Atlantis being my favorite so far. My favorite characters on SG-1 are Samantha Carter, Daniel Jackson and Teal'c. On Atlantis I like nearly all the characters (including McKay) but Teyla is my favorite and Dr. Beckett because of his Scottish accent.
Is there anyone else who watches the Stargate series?

I used to watch all the time, although Cornell O'Neill was annoying with his dumb lines, now i don't watch very often i think the story is pretty much the same.

Yeah, pretty much the same. SG-1 ended a little while ago, but Atlantis is still on. Atlantis is worth watching; Teyla is kick-ass and scantilly clad, McKay is still a pain, and there's no O'Neil to be seen!

I don't watch Atlantis, i don't think it runs on my country...
I think the show as lasted long enough i mean it's been running for more then 10 years that's a pretty good acomplishement and they are kind of ruining the original story with all this story recaps but with different villains.

i watch both, i could say i am a massive fan, as i have seen most of the episodes of atlantis and quite a few in the SG-1.
Im guessing you haven't seen Dr. Beckett's death yet? if so he was a good man if not sorry for spoiling it for ya

I used to watch it a lot around the beginning and middle of the series, but then I just sort of lost touch with it. I did see some of the episodes toward the end, though.

SG-1 was a good show until it basically became the Richard Dean Anderson show and it did get sorta dull from the halfway point. It was cool when they brought in Ben Browder and Claudia Black though since I'm a fan of theirs from Farscape. Still to see the two movies that finished off the entire thing.
Atlantis however I thought was complete shit.

Thanks for spoiling it!!! I put three exclamation marks to show my outrage! But at least they put Sam in the later episodes. She's my #1 fave character out of all. They'd better not off her...or else!...I'd be very upset... |

No matter who they put on SG-1, Stargate'll never be as good as Farscape! 
But, anyways...good series...much better than the movie ever was.

omg yea. great series, im really sad they put an end to stargate sg-1. i beleave atlantis will fail, because sg-1 and atlantis were closley related, but i hope not  they are the best shows of all time haha
