Gladiators
Did anyone watch the start of the new series last night on Sky One? I did, and I thought it was great! I need to watch more though before I get used to the new Gladiators though, even though Ice was quite...nice

I well liked Atlas, Spartan and Oblivion. Spartan more then anything, just because he looked so fine that night, and had kick ass poses, PLUS, he really did kick ass in the events ;D

I like the whole idea of Gladiators but this series seemed too dramatised, as if they were given a script before the show, which is shite. I wasn't sure if I was watching Eastenders or Gladiators at some points.

I thought it was awful compared to the original series (and I know that was hardly classic but still). There was too much WWE-style scripted arguments, the original show just had Wolf for that and it was always funny. Oblivion was just cringeworthy.
The falling into the water seemed daft, and they now have one less event it seems to make room for an extra advert!
Big let down for me. The only good thing was having the original referee in it.

Wow, that Sky One/English/EU/whatever cast doesn't look so hot...>_> There's only like one or two attractive girls on your guys' version it looks like!
That's the U.S. cast...minus the two new Gladiators in this season which starts...later today! I won't be watching today because House is on too, I think...or maybe something else...I forget...but the first season they did repeats on Sunday or Saturday or something...
EDIT: Oh yeah, that mini-Sabertooth (he seems kind of short compared to the others) lookin guy in the top left is our "Wolf" btw...
