My favorite movie is probably Memoirs of a Geisha. Beforehand, I read the book and it was absolutely amazing, from the remarkable character development to the flow of events as the narrator matures. Since I liked the book so much, I finally decided to see a movie like three years after it was released, and although it wasn't as good as the book (movies never are as good), it was an awesome movie. Gong Li was probably my favorite actress in the movie as usual, capturing the pure evil of Hatsumomo without even breaking a sweat.

1 Once upon a time in america (1984)
You see, I have a story too, Mr. Bailey. I had a friend once. A dear friend. I turned him in to save his life. He died. But he wanted it that way. Things went bad for my friend, and they went bad for me too.
2 Braveheart (1995)
And dying in your bed many years from now,
would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for
one chance, just one cahnce, to come back here as young men and tell
our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take
our freedom!"
3 The Godfather Part 1 (1972)
"I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
4 The Godfather Part 2 (1974)
"There are many things my father taught me here in this room. He taught me: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
5 Scarface (1983)
To many quotes to choose from.
6 Angels with dirty faces (1938 )
"All right, fellas... let's go and say a prayer for a boy who couldn't run as fast as I could."
7 Forrest Gump (1994)
"Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get."
8 The Great Escape (1963)
9 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
10 Cool Hand Luke (1967)
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."

I'm very much torn between Fight Club and Casino Royale as my favourite. Fight Club is just a classic, and will go down as one of those must-see films like Psycho has done. And Tyler Durden is probably the best fictitious character ever conceived.
And as for Casino Royale, I'm a huge Bond fan and thought that it was the best yet. Daniel Craig fits the part of early Bond so well.
Other favourites include Pulp Fiction, Hot Fuzz, Serenity, V For Vendetta, The Matrix, Scarface and more.
