Joker DID indeed steal the show from Batman. Heath was a great actor in this movie. I loved the joker and I rarely like the bad guys. haha. "Wanna know how I got these scars?" He had 2 stories for each time he told it. lmao.

It was an awesome movie. Although Batman's voice when he was in the batsuit was soooo annoying, IMO.

Watched it today and I'm satisfied, also extremely excited about it.
Didn't expect the movie to be so good and it seems I was wrong, the trailer is being unfair.
As expected,I loved the Joker.Whatever he says was epic.I hope Heath gets a prize for this great show of his as Joker.(I know he's dead but he deserves it)I can't take out of my mind the scene where he dressed like a nurse and blew up the hospital.

I saw Dark Knight for the second time today, only this time I saw it in IMAX. I will agree that IMAX is much better, but it's for the sound, not really for the screen. The action sequences in IMAX seemed to be blurred, and not as clear as I remember them in the original format.

Eitherway, the movie was amazing. I was glad to pick up on things that I didn't notice the first time. The Joker is by far the best Batman villain to date, and I really wonder what they're going to do in the next movie, without Heath. =( My guess is that it'll be Two-Face, The Riddler, Scarface, Catwoman, or a combination of all four.

ahh! This movie made me remember how much I love Batman (okay, actually I don't need to be reminded. I'm a pretty big fan girl)

Anyway...loved the speech at the end. Loved all of joker's parts. I thought Aaron ekchart did a great two-face, too. And I liked Jim Gordon a lot too.

Anybody here have trouble with the movie blacking out? Before I went to see it somebody on my forum mentioned that the movie had gone black for them but they could still hear the movie going on and people talking. I went to see the movie and about 30 mins in the movie went blank but you could hear the characters talking for a few minutes before they shut it off all together.
After the movie they gave us free tickets because of the hassle and I went back and saw it the next day. SAME thing happened again but at a later point in the movie.
Other then that problem the movie was great.
I just doubt I'll ever go back to an Imax theater if that problem happens quite often.

That's odd. That's likely just a cause of the theater itself. IMAX is in digital format, so it's likely that the files were corrupted, or the theater's equipment was out of date. My IMAX worked great, it just seemed blurry at times, but that was how it was filmed.

That's what I was thinking at first when my friends mentioned it. But that was two people in two different states. I don't know, maybe a bad batch or something, heh. Its just weird to hear that problem with a movie like that. Only other time I've seen a movie with problems like this was Spider Man.

I think the likely reason is the fact that movie theaters had to likely duplicate things. For example, some theaters were so sold out, they had to open more theaters and have showings at 3 and 6 in the morning. Most likely, they had to move those digital files [in IMAX's case], to other theaters, whenever things get copied, quality can get lost along the way.

Ah, I see. I truly hope for that to be the case. I really like the Imax format. Its just that the closest Imax theater to me is a 4 hour drive. And with the price of gas these days, after having driven there two times and had the movie go out on me I kinda lost my faith all together in the theater. I'd like to go back some day though and have my faith revived.

The movie itself was greatness though. I was very happy with the length. I didn't want it to end but at the same time I kept thinking..."wow its been on for a while it might be ending soon"...then it would seem to go on for another half hour.
I've never been a huge Heath Ledger fan, but he did an excellent job on this.

My two favorite parts of the movie,

when he made the pencil disappear and when he was dressed up like a nurse.

That's good to hear. I enjoyed it in the theater, and am hoping to see it in the Imax soon. It was easily the best movie I'd seen all year.
