See, I was torn. Between tonight's 8, my favourite three were, indeed, the top three.
Between Kate and Gin/Dean, I would've went for Dean. I like the Dog but it's more of a novelty act - Dean could actually make a career out of what he's doing.
That being said, I kind of think Amanda did the right thing - the novelty is brilliant for the Royal Variety Performance ... and, if Dean was ever good enough to go through, then he'll be discovered elsewhere soon enough. I'm surprised we didn't see him on Any Dream Will Do or something.

Didn't really think much of the first act tonight, it was good but it didn't really grab my attention
Iona, or whatever her name is was EPIC though, I'm so envious of her bendiness

That was well cute. Don't really like kiddie acts because it's just the cutness thing innit....but they were really good lol
And I remember watching that Rydia, it was rather amusing
Well that singing woman just made me cringe from start to finish, and god knows what they were waffling about after haha. Deary me.....
I do wonder why they put some of these acts through....

That pair ... ugh. I faulted countless things with the piano before she even started singing. I think the main problem is that it's too fast and that's an epic song, which needs a lot of deep breaths and tremolandos ... but if you speed it up then there's no chance of keeping the epic nature in tact.
