No old names, confusing
In the old times in FFF, if you would change your username the old one would be displayed in your profile. It is important that when you have a friend who changes his username along with av and sig it is hard to know who he is. I haven't been active this week and I see that I have many friends who changed their names and I have no idea who they are...

I think there's a thread explaining this. Basically, people have been asked to put their old username in their sig or usertitle. I don't think the profile feature is coming back.

I believe the staff are moving for it to be removed, since your profile can become cluttered particularly more quickly than others if you change your name frequently. We've been asked to mention our aliases in our signature instead.

Also, if I recall correctly, that an AKA field will be in our profiles soon, which we can fill in instead of putting it in our sigtnatures and what-not.

For now, people who had had recent name changes, we ask that they put their previous and/or most well-known username in their sig or their usertitle until we can get this problem fixed.

As you wish. It's there in my sig now, but some people may not know this new rule so maybe you should make an announcement or something.
