Isn't it just when a new post gets er, posted?

Although sometimes it doesn't update for me and I miss what's going on because Im too lazy to click new posts

i know it seems to be after a post but.. it seems kind of sporatic, and i would just like to know the time in seconds/ or minutes

Oh, I am very sorry, but I was just trying to help, you out. And I was 'seriouse', we don't post according to a time frame, which means, the thread thingy at the top of the main site refreshes every time we make a new post

Simple Answer: Whenever someone posts. It don't just reload randomly, it's whenever there is a new post the top 5 statistics reload.

The Top 5 box has:

setTimeout("requestTopXStats()", 60000)

I believe that means the Top 5 box refreshes every 60000 miliseconds (i.e. every minute).
