It was closed under the rule that we're not allowed to talk about illegal downloads. I understand perfectly but please understand something.

Emulation is not illegal, because the developers perform clean room reverse engineering. It's completely original and is allowed under software copyright law. They do not distribute the bios files, and encourage end users to acquire their own LEGALLY from the Play Station Unit that they own. They are NOT distributing games and I am NOT encouraging anyone to download illegal games. I OWN Final Fantasy X thus I've done nothing illegal. I'm only using the emulator for informational purposes. I did not link to any games for download, only the emulators. Please reconsider as you never know, I might find some cool stuff.

I will abide by whatever decision you guys make, but I don't want my topics to be closed when I've clearly done nothing against the rules. I didn't see anything about hacking in the rules either so I'm unclear as to why it was locked.

But you're not in this case. That's like saying, "We can't talk about guns because that might give someone the idea that they could shoot someone."

1. It's very doubtful that a PS2 emulator will play a game better than an actual PS2. In fact it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE that that'll happen. I know the pictures say I was running at 60FPS, but trust me, it does NOT run that well.

2. With a mod chip, they can do the same thing.

3. In general fact, they can steal a physical copy of the game. The only way to avoid that is to make people not want the game. Someone is going to steal it whether it's through emulation or not.

I'm NOT encouraging stealing, I just want to post information and I thought some of it was neat.

Also I don't see anything about emus in the rules. I'm not trying to cause problems but I'm just very ... confused about your methods.
