On the frog Catching mini game is there a quick way to make the frogs repawn?

i thought it was if you leave a male and a female frog left they will all appear quicker

i only have 40 and its taking forever

Leaving a male and a female frog is good, also helps if you leave a golden frog.

Best way is to go to a frog swamp every time you get a chance to. Shouldnt be too hard on catching 99 then. I've always succeeded and never cost me much patient/trouble.

See, I always just get all of them. Ya gotta figure that if there is 4 Marsh's on Gaia, that by the time you hit up one marsh and move to the next, another Marsh will repopulate again. So just keep going until your heart's content with the number of frogs you've caught.

they way i see it is that the frog catching is good to a point but for the most part pointless. i just say try and find the best weapons for each charactor and stock up on items and then who needs frog catching. the only thing it is good for is getting the better weapon of the fat chef.

That mini Game was easy.It was fun too.I enjoyed it and yes leaving a Female and a male works good.

the minigame was quite fun but it took a while to get 99 i wanted to fight quale thats the only reason i did it...

I think I got the frogs to spawn pretty quickly on my last run, I always left a male, female and the golden frogs alone while catching the other frogs.

I then went to play chocobo hot and cold for around an hour and half and around this time I then went back to the swamp. The frogs will usually have respawned at this time and then I went to catch some more frogs.

I just kept doing this process of switching back and forth between chocobo hot and cold and the frog catching minigame.

I caught around 40 frogs I think before the end of disc 1 and dug up all the chocographs in the forest too, I think choco had a beak level of 25-30 odd.

Its a great tip to make inroads in the two games longest sidequests imo very early in the game.
