Need help w/ weapons and armors

Hey guys i need help customizing my weapons and armors

wat would be THE BEST abilities in weapons + armors??

can i just do it w/ a 4 open slot weapon and armor?

or would legendary weapons be better?

Well the best weapons would be the Celestial weapons, can't get much better than those

As for armour abilities like breka damage limit, break HP limit and Ribbon would be what i would personally consider "the best"

I found evade & counter very useful....especially when combined with a status effect like darkness.

For me I would get a weapon with piercing, break damage limit, counter attack and magic counter

as for armour I would get break hp limit, break mp limit, ribbon, curseproof and any other attribute

If you're going for the storyline and ignoring the extras(Dark aeons, arena and whatever) then Break HP limit is quite useful. But If you're going for them extras, forget about it because many of the bosses you encounter will instantly kill you/ deal 99999 dmg/petrify you and so on...

no, im not just going with the storyline, im at the arena right now and i caught every single monster. What I'm trying to do right now is to get all my characters perfect (literally..).

So does anybody have any ideas??
Ive seen some people have (for their armor) break hp limit, auto-haste, auto-protect, and auto-shell... is that good? / or godly?

And.. for the weapons, would it be the samething if i got a 4 open slot weapon and put abilities in there compared to a celestial weapon? Is there anything hidden / special about celestial weapons?

The Celestial weapons are the best in the game...

And I'd think

Auto-Phoenix
Auto-Haste
Break HP Limit
and Ribbon

would be the best 4 abilities for armour

Alot of the items for the best abilities are in the Calm Lands/Arena. =D.

Steal/Mug the bigger enemies and you should get some important stuff to upgrade your weapons with.

ok, but wat would be the best stats / attributes to max? (since u can only max like.. 3 or 4 out of all of them cuz the sphere grid isnt big enough)

is break hp limit ne good?? i heard from a lot of other places that it suks ..

How can it suck? if your normal attack without Break dmg. is 9999 then you can equip that character with Break dmg. With Break damage limit you will get a higher chance of overkilling. I actually can't understand what you want

(My Tidu's regular attack is 99,999. That's how far your break damage limit can go)

Break HP limit is very useful when fighting bosses and Dark Aeons. Otherwise it isn't really needed
