So, I am here in the Deadlands and I need help. I am at this thing called the Ranagullet and it won't open. It says "The Tabernacle of the shrine is held fast". What does that mean!?

Urmm...the place where Nabudis is? With all the smoke and stuff. You have to go threw Silikawood to get there. It's not on the map orginally. You have to find it yourself.

No you have to find parts of some crest symbol thing, which are scattered all over Ivalice. Then talk to these small people thingy and they go to Nabreus Deadlands.

Yea it is part of the Chaos sidequest. It's on top of a circular rise and it's a tomb surrounded by non-stopping skeletons? You have to get the other two Mou Nu's or whatever they are and bring them back to the main one at the beginning of the Nabreas deadlands. You'll see the lead one is standing at the edge of a broken rope bridge. That bridge originally led to the plateau you are on now. Once all three are gathered, they will unlock that tomb and allow you to fight Chaos. Also, that is the plateau where you fight one of those robot hunts that are shaped like an "n" with two large legs.
