Preperation before disk 4?

Hey all, I'v just reached disk 4, and iv pritty much scrapped through the boss's lol, I was woundering what Magics/GF's and Levels i should obtain before continuing, cause im getting my arse kicked by Adel/Riona. My Phsyical hits do nothing to nil.

(Note i have a saved file before i enterd the ship lol so im not stuck lol)

This is my 3rd time through the came upto this stage, and i always find myself in trouble lol, The leveling system is just too confusing for me, could anyone give me advice on what i should Junction?

GF's suck besides the abilities you learn from having them equipped. Don't equip the summon GF command. Ultimecia or Griever will murder the hell out of them before they're summoned, anyway.

If you don't have over 6000 HP, lawl. Refine some tents for Curagas, and start searching for regen rings to refine into full-lifes, junction them to your HP.

Diablos: Learn Darkside and equip it to your strongest character to do lots of damage. It's very effective with Squall, and at least doubles the amount of damage done.

Get tornado magic to equip to your strongest character.(Reccomended to be equipped to Squall.) Refine your Aeros into tornados, refine windmills, or draw from the Worm thing on the Cactuar island. Cactaurs also give a shitload of AP, so you might want to check that out.

Beat Bahamut, refine his card. This is a very vital part of making the final boss a whimpering puppy.

Seifer, draw Aura from him until you have 100 stocked each for your characters.

Lastly, take some time to see the advantages of refining magic, the draw system, and equipping magic.

Also, if you don't have over 7000 HP and feel as if you cannot be arsed to get your HP that high, prepare to die when you fight Griever.

Edit: Also, when you get to Ultimecia's final form which is a faceless thing-thing of win, make sure to look if there's another target to destroy when you attack her. If you miss it, you're going to die. She can draw apocolypse magic from what seems to be her ass when you're able to target it.

Atm all my toons health is over 9k But just my junction sucks lol, Ill give it a crack and see if i can non stupid lol Thanx for the help

Btw were is the cactus place? lol and were can i get these rings for Full life's?

and go to the islands closest to heaven and hell, put encounter none on, and then walk round pressing x and you will draw lots of magic ie ultima, meteor aura and full life.
make sure squall has 255str and that you have some meltdowns.
when you battle adel and later ultamecia cast meltdown on them and aura on squall and then you should have no trouble killing either of them

Yeah iv milked the islands hell/heaven, anywere else or any items that i can find to refine? And were do i get meltdown, iv never seen it lol

those floaty things in the place where selphie's garden is, cant remember name.

and if you have 100 of those magics i mentioned before and lionheart then it should all be easy

Gayla's, I think they're called. They look like striped stingrays.

Ifrit, Pandemona and Bahamut also offer thoe Strength + x% abilities, which are a massive help. When you refine the Brothers cards, one of them gives you 100 Dino Bones, which can be refined into 20 quakes each, or something like that. Quake is amazing to Junction, particularly to your strength. Curaga is, indeed, your best bet for HP. Ultima and similiar magic can be junctioned to Elm-Def and increases resistances against almost all elementally-based attacks.

Aye, Aura is just sex on a CD, particularly with Renzokuken, Shot and Duel.

Gayla's are located north of Balamb, near the old garden, snowy area. They drop Mystery Fluid which refines into Melt-down.

If you're going to fight Omega Weapon make sure you draw 100 deaths and junction it. Do this if your a level that can be divided by 5. Omega Weapon first attack is level 5 death.

If you don't have Laguna's card or Gilgamesh card you're fucked.... You can't fight Omega Weapon without any Heros.

Also if you missed any GF's in Ultimecia's Castle you can draw them from the bosses inside.

Is the omega weapon a story boss fight or just optional?

And Does it matter if i get to lvl 100 on squall, but Zell and Questis only lvl 50? Iv been hearing ppl say dont get to lvl 100 or somthing lol
