How do you kill the undyin

You use Cure or Curaga dont you?
Healing spells work agaisnt the undead.

The Undying is the final boss in FFXII. He is not undead.

There really isn't a whole lot to it. Buff you characters with protect/shell and whatever else you have and then just hack away at him. It's a good idea to make sure you've done enough hunts in order to buy Bubble Belts for your party/the Bravery spell, but it's not required. Just make sure you have all the best equipment you can buy at the end of the game (I recommend Save the Queen broadswords and Maximillion armour) and you should struggle through it. Be around level 50+.

Just level your characters up and have good equipment. Im sure I was around level 55.

I didnt know that as Ive not finished the game yet. The Undying sounds like a enemy, not a boss IMO.

Ok well here you go.

You are going to want to be around lvl 45 or above. Well Vayne infused with the Rogue Venat, can become immune to physical/magikal damage and he will be flying around targeting people. It is highly reccomended that you do not go in for an attack because you will leave some of your party members in the line of the very powerful Megaflare attack.

It is highly reccomended that you do not go in for an attack because you will leave some of your party members in the line of the very powerful Megaflare attack.

The Undying does not have any HP bar. But when he is at 75%, 50%, and 25% he pops up different barriers that you need to wait out. Some block physical damage, others block magickal damage. For the physical damage barrier use Scathe or Flare over and over. For the magick barrier, you can just cast Bravery on your heavy hitter. Near 25% HP, Vayne is totally invulnerable and its best to just run away from him and heal.

This is the last fight so don't be shy about busting out ALL Quickenings, Megalixers and Scathe/Holy Motes. Make sure to bring Rubber Suits, White Masks, and other status immunity accessories to swap in on the fly in reaction to The Undying's area nukes and status ailments. Keep hitting the hell ou of him and keep an eye on your active characters' MP and HP levles, always ready to swap in a fresh ally if someone gets too depleted. When Vayne in his final incarnation as The Undying finally falls, YOU WIN MUTHER F******!

You also want to have bubble belt (I didn't use it and I beat him) for his quickenings:
Ascension - does around 2000-3000 damage
Gigaflare Sword - does around 3000-4000 damage
Teraflare (the worst) - does around 4000-6000 damage

I was around level 55 and had no trouble with him. I had everyone with Ally Status: KO = Arise at the top of their Gambit lists, with Ally HP: Critical = Curaja and Ally HP < 50% = Curaga underneath that. Then I just got them all to attack him, waited out his Palings and such, and he was down in no time. I also had Bubble, Protect, and Haste Gambits set up for everyone (they're pretty much essential in the later boss battles). Although I didn't use them, Bubble Belts would certainly work wonders too.
