I've recently played this for the second time - I'm at the battle with Jecht and am finding it more difficult than last time even though my characters are stronger this time round. I can't remeber specifically how I battled before. I'm just wondering if there are any easy ways around the fact that after his overdrive, he gets lots of turns in a row, which is what killed me

Also, due to knowing about the final battle with Yu Yevon beforehand, I have been levelling up Yuna, but not toooo much... do you advise I stop levelling her up now to make the final battles easier?

Ensuring you have protective spell cast will reduce the damage he deals significantly. That in itself should ensure your survival... seeing as he isn't hard at all. Guard yourself against Petrify, and you'll not encounter any bothersome moments in that fight.

Are you taking out the Pagodas? I wouldn't really say it was worth doing honestly, unless you can easily take them out twice or so. Might as well give Jecht all you've got (seeing as it's the end), so don't bother conserving MP much.

I wouldn't be too concerned with the Aeon battles. No matter how strong they are, you'll always have some way of beating them; you can't lose.






Also... moved to the Help Booth.

I found the final battles to be no problem at all. I had Tidus stats maxed out and had his celestial weapon so I just used hus Blitz Ace Overdrive. As for the Aeons, at the time Yuna wasn't very high at all so I could one hit them, lol.
