FFXII Disc error
I'm playing FFXII, but my game is messed up somehow. I load my games, and can hear music, but the screen never loads; it's just blank. I've tried cleaning the disc like a DVD but this doesn't work. I've loaded other PS2 games, and they've worked. I even tried loading different saves to see if my data is corrupt, but none of them load. Has anybody had this problem? Did you fix it?

It's never happened to me, and my PS2 is on its last legs; the disc itself is in good condition, though. Try and borrow/rent another copy and see if it works. Should your copy be faulty, you could always try one of those DVD repair things.

It happened to me (Yes, the exact same thing), but I stupidly used Brasso (Brass Cleaner) on it, then it somehow worked. What i'm trying to say is, give it a real good clean. And if you've a Slimline PS2, try cleaning the laser, but as you probably know you have to be extra careful.
