FFX Aeon Help
no matter what i do i cant figure out how to make my aeons stronger than they were when i got them. i know it should be possible to make them stronger. does anyone know how to make them more powerful/customize them?

but isnt there any way to upgrade the stats of the aeons themselves?

I cant remember but once your yuna is at certain stats most aeon will have 255 anyway

You get items from certain Aeon Battles.
I remember one being on the Mihen High Road and in the erm Via Purcifico and the Temple near the Calm Lands.

After you reach a certain point in the game (I think it's after you beat that Summoner lady on the Highroad, but I'm really not sure), you can spend Spheres to upgrade their statistics, like HP and MP and Strength and all that, and give them items to teach them new spells and stuff. Your Aeons' stats will also rise as Yuna's do. Personally I never bothered with using Spheres on them, seemed like a bit of a waste.

For starters: Go to the Moonflow road to meet Belgemine (the summoner lady) You will have to battle her Ixion but you don't have to win  She will give you a sphere (I think it's called Summoner's soul) It will teach your aeons various abilities.
When you get to the Calm lands, on the entrance from Macalania go left. Soon you will see a woman on a chocobo. Talk to her. Then select "I wanna ride one!" to ride a chocobo obviosely. Keep going left untill you see a chocobo feather on the ground. Press X and then you will see an entrance to the Reniem Temple. Go inside the temple and talk to Belgemine. She will give you a special sphere.
Go to the main menu and then go to the aeon section. Press ^ (a triangle) and select "Attributes". From that point I think you can take care of things yourself

I prefer to use Yuna to make my Aeons stronger, train her up well and your Aeons will become alot stronger in no time, plus when you do choose to upgrade your Aeons attributes using Summoner's Soul, it costs around 70 Power Spheres to add 1 Strength...it's not really worth the trouble IMO

I rarely used my aeons and I didn't upgrade their stats. You eventually will be able to use certain items to raise their stats. The same way with weapon upgrading. The only reason I wouldnt want to raise my aeons stats are so that (Spoiler) when I fight them at the end of the game they would be easy.

i agree, i never used that method because it was such a hastle and you lose all of your items in the process. your best bet is to just make yuna more powerful and increase her stats, i did that and anima does 99,999 damage |
