FFVII Questions

1. What happened to Cait Sith's White part of his body? The big fat guy?
2. Em...The ending of FF7 said 500 years later, then it showed the red xiii intro thingy. I thought AC was like 2 years later.
3. The ending of FF7 appeared as if everyone died. The big flash and everyone closed their eyes and there was a huge explosion and they didn't appear after that.
4. What's the story with Lucriea? Vincent didn't say really anything about her in FF7.
5. Em...In FF7AC at the beginning when Reno went into the northern crater, what happened? What was with the "BANG! BANG! BANG!" "ELENAA!!" "Reno..."...."Damn!" WTC?
6. What the crap was geostigma? WHERE THE CRAP DID IT COME FROM?!
7. Who is Denzel? How did he get in the story.
8. What was the summon near the end of FF7AC? You know the huge demon guy that everone beat the crap out of?
9. What happened to Scarlet and Heidaggear?
10. I don't remember seeing vincent in any cutscenes, Is he in any?

3. The ending of FF7 - left to your own imagination I guess, altho the 500 years later bit shows that they probs all survived

I dont think there were any cutscenes for vincent because they ran out of time or something.....

AC was in between these two points. When you see the scene at the end of FFVII Midgar is overrun by vegitation, trees plants whatnot which is not what you see in AC which is more just a deprived city.

I think everyone in the upper plates died i'm not sure.

aahhh same with Yuffie, FFVII was rushed onto the shelves and as a result many aspects on FFVII had not been completed. Vincent and Yuffie being added onto cutscenes was not completed and all you got were the ones you would see if you had not got Yuffie or Vincent...this would be better as people would wonder who they were if they hadn't got the characters yet

I think it was more because he was an optional character. It wouldn't make sense to have him in a cutscene if the person playing never had him join the party.

As for Scarlet and Heidegger, they were in the Proud Clod when it exploded. They died.

1. The white thing was a giant stuffed robotic moogle, Cait Sith is just the cat pupet that round round on him. IN AC he uses Nanaki as transport instead, the reason for this is that Square found trying to animate that far too difficult which is also why Nanaki has so little screentime.

2. AC is 2 years after the original game, AC starts with the same bit the game finished. After that bit in AC it says 498 years earlier.

3. The ending of VII can be taken in a few ways, remember that when it was first made Square had no plans for a sequel.

4. Vincent tells you plenty about Lucrecia when you first meet him. How she was involved with the Jenova Project and is Sephiroth's biological mother.

5. The start of AC was Reno and the Turks searching the crater for Jenova's head which they found and took it to Rufus which is how he came to hold it.

6. Geostigma is caused when Sephiroth's will makes the Jenova cells in peoples body act slightly differently causing the persons natural defenses to violently fight against the J cells. The symptoms are a side effect of that internal battle. Geostigma also caused corruption in the persons spiritual energy so when they died their energy joined Sephiroth's negative energy instead of returning to the planet as normal.

7. An orphan saved by Cloud, he has some backstory in On a Way to a Smile. I've not read it myself.

8. Bahamut Sin summoned by Kadaj using one of the bits of materia Loz stole from Cloud, or rather from his camp in Aerith's church.

9. They died in the original game when the Proud Clod blew up and good riddence to the fools and their stupid laughs.

10. As he was an optional character he does not appear in any of the games cutscenes.

Remember when Cait Sith said "Gya ha ha, and Kya ha ha are up to something."? In FF7? That made burst out laughing my head off! I almost fell out of my chair. Now I understmd Vincent and Yuffies lack of appearence. I am about to play FF7 DoC, I am getting it for christmas. (Shh!)

1. The big fat thing wasn't actually part of Cait Sith.
2. At the end of Final Fantasy VII it says 500 years later, at the start of Advent Children it shows the same scene (but in CGI) and says 498 years earlier, therfore, 2 years after the game.
3. Everyone didn't die, the lifestream came out and saved the planet, Midgar got destroyed.
4. Vincent said quite a lot about Lucrecia! You actually met Lucrecia behind a waterfall to the North.
5. Elena and Tseng were being taken captive by Cadaj, Yazule and Loz.
6. I'm not 100% sure about the Stigma (Bizzaro Sephiroth used a poisinous attack called Stigma in the game if that's any interest!).
7. Cloud and Tifa look after children, and Denzel is one of them(and a friend of Marlenes).
8. That was the Bahamut!
9. Scarlet and Heidaggear were in the Proud Clod (the boss in Midgar before you face Hojo)
10. Vincent and Yuffie are secret characters and, therefor, didn't appear in any of the CGI cutscenrs incase you didn't find them!
