Have any tips or tricks for me, you know, make me strong from the start or something. I don't really remember much about 8, it's been about 7 years since I last picked it up and I'm much more of a fan to 4 and 7. So.....tricks anybody?

Meh just draw 100 of everything from the monsters around balamb and have your GF's (well Shiva) learn boost before you hit the fire cavern. Then just draw, draw & draw some more until you have 100 of everything and you have gone insane from all the drawiness - junctioning them too your gfs will give your stats a nice boost. Just a shame its so tedious.

Also play lots of cards - refining cards gets you good stuff, learn card mod from quezacotl

And refining magic from items takes the monotony out of drawing from monsters aswel - (using GF abilities)

Oh yeah you can do all that but it involves alot of levelling up early on and whatnot. Theres a thread somewhere that tells you how too get all the ultimate weapons on disc one but I can't remember what it was

Well I'm on the very beginning of Disc 3 and Squall is only lvl 28 and it feel really weird. Is there anything I should or could do to make things easier on me?

Well if you want to level up fast hit the island closet to hell, I have Quistis in my party with low hp so she can just use degenerator on everything- you will level up at the speed of light that way. Just save alot just incase summat kills youo (like a marlboro ...)

Also if you go to the little desert island you can learn all your GF's abilities really fast because the cactuars give 20 hp a time.....altho they have annoyingly high evasion and escape alot.

I think I went to get Eden when I was lvl 50, just make sure you have Lionheart for Squall & he's a pushover - you can get his items just from monster drops at the island closest to hell - Pulse ammo can be abit of a pain, unless you got the power generator when you was in the lunatic pandora???

What Gf's do you actually have??

quez, shiva, brothers, diablos, carbuncle, ifrit, pandemonea, cerberus, leviathin, I think that's all I have for now, I havent even started disc 3 yet just saved before I put it in and turned it off. The only GF I've missed is Siren so far, I'm pretty sure I get Doom Train next. Also I dont get the Island closet to Hell and Heaven thing.

Well, the island closest to hell (if you look on your map) is on the left hand side it's only small and long, right on the tip of some other islands. You will need the ragnarok to access it. Just keep landing oin them you will find it eventually. Heaven is on the opposite side, just keep landing on the random small islands til you find it again. Hell has marlboros tho, so expect to die alot - or hope Odin saves your butt.

The little desert island at the bottom of Esthar(again only accessible with ragnorak) has GF Cactuar, you will see it popping up and down as soon as you walk in to it, it'l start the fight

Eden & Bahamut are on a little research facility right in the bottom left of the map

Tonberry & Odin are on the centra crater - Tonberry is a pain in the neck to get, because you have to fight 20+ tonberrys before GF tonberry King appears

Erm....Do you know what items you need for doomtrain??

I think that's all the optional ones that I can think of off my head
