thinking of starting ffxi-any suggestions
hi, i played ffxi for about 3 months last year, i was a hume red mage on the bahamut server, but i was thinking of starting again and was wondering if anyone could suggest which race/job to use. i dont really mind but i wont use the female only cat-girl one. im interested in the samurai/ninja/dark knight (if its in their) classes and was wondering which starting classes to use,

Pick whichever race you want, it doesnt matter very much. For Samurai,Ninja, and Dark Knight you'll want to start was a Warrior.

Well I am a Evlaan DRK but the race depends on what you want,
Elvaan: High Attack and STR(Highest in the game) low Accuracy
Hume: Balanced
Taru: Low HP STR all the good stuff (Mainly good for mages)
Galka: Low ass MP, High HP, VIT, STR
Mithra: Alot like Hume really but less STR and VIT but more DEX And AGI

thanks ill probably try an elvaan warrior then, i suppose what i meant was that im not very good at power levelling so i just wondered if any of the jobs are overpowered and if any are useless?

How is that mean? Moderators always move help/suggestion threads to Help Booth. That is why it's called the Help Booth. Where people ask what to do and what is the best suggestions. Yes, you're topic is about what race/class best to start with or to make.

It doesn't matter if that section needs more topics. You're thread is help/suggestion related thread thus why it was moved to the Help Booth.
