Where are the best places to level up?

I am currently trying to master my materia and am doing so in the northen cave, I heard a monster that says "give me an elixir will pay off loads of ap if given an elixir then killied. Thanks to W-Item there is no shortage of elixirs but I can't find the guy. If there's any specific place in the northen cave that he appears I'd love to hear it. Feel free to write down your favourite leveling up places too.

HHEEAAPPPSSS you get next to no exp. But AP wise you get heaps. Yeah it where he said, Yellow and green/blue the scenery should be

Heaps. that sounds good. I don't need experience just wanna get master magic etc. and bang up the weapons.

You'd be looking for the Magic Pots then. Found in the natural looking path (looks kinda like hair :s) in the North Crater.

NOTE.
they will say something around "gimme Ether" (or some item that starts which an E)
you will not get any AP if you don't "feed" them one

I think they need two each. They ask for more when you give them one. Also for Exp you could look for the 3 balls..they give you good amounts i think.

I trained all of my materia in the forest surrounding Mideel and never had a problem. Mostly because you can use Double and Triple weapons and armor without getting moidered >.>
