Megaman ZX games don't use any of the DS features for anything important. Phantom Hourglass does use the mic for some sections and control is only done through the touch screen. Advance Wars I'm pretty sure doesn't use anything besides the touch screen.

Hmm...actually, I guess a Zelda might be difficult to play w/o sound (I also no longer have speakers!!! V_V) since there are normally audible cues...oh well...some other time, maybe...
And, hey, I'm completely up for ports & remakes btw!
I just noticed Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga when I was looking up Advance Wars! I'm gonna have to get that! Hmm...I should probably see if they've got the other Lego games...isn't there a Lego Batman game that's supposed to be just as good too?

Oh yeah, what about Phantom Hourglass? Advance Wars? Megaman whatever? Do any of them use the mic? I liked the GBA versions of...all of those, really. Minish Cap, hellz yeah!

Phantom Hourglass uses the mic, but not often. Maybe 5 ish times the whole game.
Advance Wars... Days of Ruin is awesome, just... Awesome. Dual Strike is good, but less so.
DQMJ is good. I've also played DQM2, the boy kid's version. Joker is a lot better.

Well, yeah, it doesn't matter how many TIMES the mic is used, just if it's NECESSARY...because if you need to use it to go through the game at all, I can't play it then...
Isn't Days of Ruin the sequel to Dual Strike, though? I also read that they're both actual sequels to the GBA games because it's about the Black Hole (is that even the name?) nation from the second GBA game (which I haven't gotten to yet)...
Well, maybe I'll get DQM:J, hmm...I got Geometry Wars: Galaxies though, which I also noticed when looking up Advance Wars (maybe I'll just look through the whole catalog to see what I like? V_V). I played the regular one on XBOX Live before and even though I wish I didn't have to use the stylus, it's still good oldschool shooter fun with newschool flavor.

In PH you need to use it once to enter one of the dungeons.
Dual Strike is a sequel to the GBA games but the new characters were a bit shitty. I think because the art direction is different to the previous games that Days of Ruin may be based on a new world instead of a direct sequel but I'm not 100% sure about that.

No, Days of Ruin is not a sequel or in anyway affiliated to the advance wars games. It is pretty good. Also why don't you want games that use the mic? And is there anything wrong with "the world ends with you" because I'm planning on buying it.

Well, like I said...It has to do w/the specific WAY in which I PLAY the games? *hint hint* I can't exactly mention them in the FORUMS thOugh? *wink wink* Y'know what I Mean? *nudge nudge* I actually mentioned it in my first post, but it was edited out, so that's why the subterfuge, btw...So basically, just think of it as: My DS's mic is broken, okay? That works, right?
Anyways, I went through about 1/4 of the released games (including EU & J releases), Wiki'd them to find out gameplay factors and I'm thinking about...
Resident Evil: Deadly Alliance - Because I never finished the original (this version includes two versions: one that uses more of the DS capabilities and one more classic version)...I've only ever beaten two RE games, really...4 and...2? 3? Whichever one has that one thing constantly running after you screeching STAAAAAAAARS all creepy-like...
Metroid Prime: Hunters - Because I haven't played any of the Primes and I love the Metroid games and it's been a while since Zero & Fusion and I needs me a Samus fix!!!
Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time - Although I still need to go through Superstar Saga...
Lunar: Dragon Song (or w/e the EU & J name is) - I only ever got to play the GBA version of the first Lunar game and I recall enjoying it. Very nice basic RPG romp, which is right up my alley.

I feel incredibly stupid because unfortunately I do not understand what you mean. "wink wink" "nudge nudge"
Also the games you have listed...
Resident Evil: Deadly Alliance- Never played it...
Metroid Prime Hunters- Awesome game! I would highly reccomend it! (It is a little short though.)
Mario and Luigi-This was a flat out great game!
Lunar: Dragon Song-..... I hate to say it... this game was horrible.... Only lasted 10 hours.... Battle system sucked... You couldn't even pick your own targets, they were randomly decided for you. Excluding that it was far too easy. Getting money was impossible... Very little in equipment and skills... And the story was barely decent.... It got multiple negative reviews, (less than 4 out of 10 for every critic.)
Trust me, do not get Lunar! You will thank me later!

Whoa, that's weird...why the hell did I write "Deadly Alliance"?? Isn't that the name of a Mortal Kombat title? I must've been tired or something...or maybe because they sound-a-like...it was actually Resident Evil: Deadly Silence.
I already got Lunar...I don't mind it so far...but, yeah, getting money seems like quite a bitch (having to battle for items instead of exp in order to sell stuff)...but I kind of like the idea of having to choose exp or items...interesting anyways...I don't mind the lack of targeting either, I guess...I know we shouldn't have to deal w/such oldschool gameplay now-a-days, but w/e I guess...It WAS the first real RPG on the DS after all...? So far I don't mind the story either...seems like there'll be a decent amount of character development too w/the DQ-like character interaction system.
