Ok, I'll edit now, sorry. My favorite Pokemon is Alakasam. I don't know if I spelled it right. I have a Kadabra, does any one know what lvl it has to be to evolve?

I agree, I had an emulator for a short time, and it just wasn't the same, I deleted it after not very long.
I always just buy a game when it's something that I want, it works out perfectly well for me, I've enjoyed many long hours playing Pokémon Diamond.

I was going to buy Pearl as my Brother just got Diamond, but I'm going to wait for Platinum to be released. I've still got alot of games to be getting on with and have lots of Pokemon on Emerald I want trained to epic standards so the wait isn't bothering me.

Kadabra's don't evolve by levelling, you have to trade it via link cable to another game for it to evolve. However this can be done at any level.

Have they given details on Platinum? Is it just going to be the 3rd installment of the Pearl/Diamond games? If so...why does it seem to be taking so long inbetween them? Weren't past 3rd installments relatively quick to be released?

It is going to be the third installment of Gen 4, with a few new features and slightly changed Pokemon rooster as per usual I guess. They usually take about 2 years between the first two and the third so its about right.

These expansion type games always sneak up on me, like Crystal.
Here is a Pokemon Platinum site if anyone can read Japanese? 
Anyway after reading up on it apparently....

Who's Volkner? The last Gym Leader? If so he better not end up as Champion like that pussy 'let's see who's Pokemon dance more elegantly' fool did in Emerald whilst Steven Stone became an 'extra' (not that he was much cope to begin with either mind).
