I thought that most of the SA2 soundtrack was kinda sucky.

I've mentioned my opinions of the Linkin Park/Gay Sonic clones and other new characters made for every new game already but yeah, that's always been a major negative for me. I mind of Sally but that was from the cartoon not the comic series, we had a Sonic the Comic from years ago which was awesome but that wasn't related.

I went right off Sonic once it moved away from the megadrive, same with Mario really but I do have a fondness for the old left to right 2D business I still dust my mega drive off occassionally

I'm probably the only person who got into the Sonic games because of the Archie series. Then it decided to get crappy and follow the game plots. Bleh, imo, this issue had better characters in it than any of the Sonic games:

No, the only people I know that like Shadow are usually those who have a liking for Linkin Park or some other similar brand of music so I go along with that.
And there wasn't any need to act like a fuckwit.

I probably read the first 80-something Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I really wish I owned them... they cover Sonic's history well. They even revealed Sonic's real name... of which I can't remember now. Grr.
Yes, the comic got me hooked onto the series. I liked the series before (although Sonic and Knuckles is the greatest Sega Genesis game ever, being the only one of it's kind with lock on technology). However, the comic caused me to love the series. I just bought Shadow the Hedgehog shortly before Christmas (I'm a little behind in gaming, I know). I want to play the 2006 version of Sonic the Hedgehog on PS3.
I do think there has been too many new characters introduced (they didn't need to bring in Silver... that makes too many hedgehogs. Three's a crowd.) However, the gaming itself tends to be engaging. I'm excited for the release of this Sonic RPG...
