Gameboys on the Big Screen.
I fancy playing Chain of Memories again but I can't live looking at this tiny 6x3 screen they've put it on. xD
Is there anyway to hook it up to a laptop, or a television, so that I can still play it on the gameboy and see it on a bigger screen?

Well... if you've got a gamecube, you could purchase one of those attachments that lets you play GBA games on telly.
Otherwise... Visual boy advance, my friend.

ahh...I remember the old snes cartridge that let you play gameboy games with the snes.
I'm sure there are ways too hook up a gameboy to a tv or monitor. You could probably route it through your ps2 if the gba has a usb port. (I can't recall.) though that would be a bit of trouble. Otherwise that gamecube thing or playing the rom on an emulator (legal, since you actually own the game.) But I'm going to go out on a limb and say you don't have the reader to transfer gba games from the cartridge to your comp, so you'd have to buy that or start over.

I don't have a gamecube.
The Gameboy does not have a USB port. xD

Darn. I'm not familiar with the gba, there might be some way to hook it up yet. You might have to buckle down and buy something before you can comfortably play it on a bigger screen.

You'd think I would've done this to start with:
http://www.gameboy-advance.net/acces...tv_adapter.htm
Now, I just need to lay my hands on one ... somewhere.
I'm afraid if I go into a shop I'll be laughed at for my archaism.

I would like to insist on the previous suggestion made by Zack. "Visual Boy" works really well, I am playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories right now.

Unless you want to import KH2 FM and buy swap magic along with it.
If not, then Visual boy advance would work best. GP SP kai works well too.

A Game Boy Advance Emulator in which you can play Game Boy Advance games in your computer. I played several great games such as Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Sonic Advanced. | | | |
