Like most of you, I LOOOOOOOVE everything final fantasy.. I've played and absolutly LOVE all of them. I would send letters to SE but I never actually find the time or the "courage". Letters about what? to thank them for giving me GREAT, magical worlds to have a great time in.

I hate when "fans" criticize games because IN MY OPINION there isn't any FF game that is "bad". "bad" like lets say...................JADE EMPIRE! now THAT'S a "bad" rpg.

so anyways, I stumbled across the forums looking for FFXIII info and I decided to join. So thanks in advance to everyone (or no one

If fans didn't criticize games, every company would be churning out crap like Sonic Riders. See, some companies actually do like to have the fans' input and will take suggestions on how to better games (Sega does not, thus why the Sonic franchise is ruined).

In your opinion Jade Empire was a bad game. In my opinion, it was fun (what little I played of it). Not only that, it got great reviews and quite a few awards.

Now I'm not sure what you define "bad" as, but I and MANY fans out there could tell you that X-2 was a bad game. Not in terms of gameplay, which was great, but in terms of story and characters. So are you saying that people who criticize any of SE's lofty decisions aren't fans?

Okay good example.. the sonic series is "bad". I thought Jade empire was way too short and easy.

FF games are FAR deeper and more spiritual than jade empire.

im not here to criticize other fans, im just saying there isn't much negative you could say about the final fantasy series. now, im not a fan boy. for example, i hated spirits within. all the spin-offs, i dislike. but the core games 1-13 and advent children? i mean, even X-2... they're all HIGH quality games. of course, when you compare some of them to the other masterpieces, then fine but in general EVERY FF game is a GREAT game. im just saying certain fans forget that.

bottom line and of course, my OWN opinion is that there isn't a final fantasy game that was "bad".

they say final fantasy fans are the hardest to please..

Oh there's plenty, believe me. It just looks like when you said you hated "fans" who criticized the game that you didn't consider them friends.

High quality in what? Graphics? Yes. But the quality of the characters and stories has been slipping since X-2...in my opinion.

And don't even get me started on Advent Children, it ruined VII in so many ways.

Yes, I do compare the newer FFs to masterpieces...masterpieces that were older FFs. I compare them to ones like VI, Tactics, IX, etc. In your OPINION, every FF is great. How can fans forget something when it's merely an opinion of yours, rather than a commonly known fact or consensus?
