Returning After Forever
About three to four years ago I was part of this community. My name was Nightwolf. As I entered the world of photoshop I slowly faded from here, eventually consumed by other forums, new friends, and ultimately Final Fantasy XI. Now after my long absance I have returned.
I don't know if any of you know me. And I don't know if I know any of you. But that doesn't matter because by the time I leave again I intend to not only be known but to know many of you.

Forum may have been remade due to hacking or root admin change. Or maybe FFH went down and an old member remade it in FFH's liking due to its previous popularity.
When areas like Zanarkand Ruins, Creativity Inspiration, Seventh Heaven Inn, and more (all named the same as the areas in FFH with the same purpose for each area) I find it hard to believe that it was just a coincidence in naming.
The is definately the old FFH, even if it is remade, renamed, and has a whole new cast of characters.
Think about it like this. If you give a man amnesia and his life takes a completely different path then it was taking, and he is even renamed. Does that mean his birth name is no longer Bob? Afterall he still looks the same, he just acts differently and has a new name.

You're half right, but this definitely isn't the original FFHybrid.
Around November/December time 2006, Darkblade, the root account for this forum, tried to "merge" with the "Other FFF" - which used to be called Final Fantasy Hybrid. I do believe that, after the merge was ... attempted, we kept many of the forum titles and whatnot. It wouldn't surprise me - Darkblade could never make anything on his own so he often plagiarised everything else.
The point is that this isn't a remake of your original FFHybrid, it'll just have a lot of the data from your old forum on this one, including both the member base and the posted threads. If I'm not mistaken, you'd be familiar with "Sephire," right? Folk like Becki, Joey, Chris and Mary?
You technically could say that you're "back" afterall. Your join date is consitent with the time the forum merge took place.
