If you really think that leaving the staff is what is best for you, then do it. You dont need to have more health problems because of having to worry about things here. Watch over yourself first. And if you want to come back, i think i speak for many when I say you will warmly welcomed.

When it comes to your personal health, be as selfish as you bloody can xD I know, through my mum, that having bad health isn't exactly easy and I've read in various places that you're going through a wee health scare yourself right now. As the others have said, though ... just relax. It is, afterall, just an internet forum. Distance yourself from drama you might see and just 'concentrate' on the stuff that only that you need to. As bad as it would be to see you leave staff, since you always seem to have the member's best interests at heart, and actually dare to do things without taking past the head man, you have to do whatever it takes to make you better. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

It's not that being here is putting "strain" on me necessarily. I just can't be a reliable staff member right now, and I may or may not be active as much as I would like to be.
I've been on the road to treatment for a week now, however, things are not looking better for me quite yet. My boyfriend sincerely wants me to visit the doctor more often; he's even talking about leaving me at the hospital for a few days because my chest pains are getting worse.
Kind of scary. =S
Taking time away from the forum may be good for you. Just come back.
